86 t/a vs. 76 Camaro
One of my best friends had a 76 Camaro LT with a 350. It has 3.90 gears, traction bars, headers, flowmaster exhaust, brand new BIG cam, headwork, and it was just rebuilt and bored .03 over (355). He ran a 16.2 last November with valve float and half the battery connected and without the cam, heads, and rebuild. I know i will lose, badly. My car is all top end, his is all low end. I was just wondering if there was a chance for me to take him in a long race. He only has a three-speed auto so he should top out pretty quickly, at least before me. I don't really know why i care so much, there really is no where i can think of where i can race him up to like 120mph. I'll probably be too far behind from the beginning to even catch up. Thanks anyway if you care.

If I give you a head start (I'm not trying to sound cocky or anything) It might actually be a good race.that way you will already be in your "sweet spot" and so will I. Curt is wrong, I could mabey go faster than 120. whatever, curt will probably get mad at me for posting here because I dont drive a third gen. See ya around.

Yeah ok Ian. I'll go on green and you go on the yellow after that. You'll still win dude. As for Curt, ehh, who cares. It's his opinion. We'll see when you get the engine in where you top out. The cam and heads should give you a better top end than before. You might want to fix the speedo for that though. As for Jamie, 84t/atpi or whatever, don't you have an 86 like me?
