Corsica bashin'

OK. Last week I explained that some kid offered to race his 1992 Corsica against my 1990 IROC-Z 5-speed. If you aren't done laughing you may want to take a minute.......

Today I'm driving with my friend through town and Corsica boy "Super Street" comes up behind me. I'm feelin like racin' so I pulled over and let him get by. as we leave town I give him about a 4 car lead and expected to hear him punch it and burn more rice than Uncle Ben at a cookoff.... NOTHIN'..... then after about 5 seconds I hear him gun it (must have no throttle response at all). So, not wanting to dissapoint, I downshifted into 3rd, chirped em' and was beside him and gone before he knew what happend. (I think he gave me the finger ) After the race I looked at my friend and he is laughing so hard he is crying. (He loves my car more than I do, and that's alot!!)

The moral of the story is RICE is RICE, MUSCLE is MUSLCE. Combine the two and somebody gets his a$$ kicked!

Can be...

If that Corsica had a wing taller than the roof or something, I can see it being called that.. But if it's just a stock Corsica... I'm not seeing any rice.

Obviously, but I believe he was referring to a riced out one.

OMG, I have to share this, I saw the most horrible Eclipse going to my dorm room. I wanted to stop and take a pic, but my GF gets embarassed by it. It was a blue, with black hood. Some kind of body kit where things were on the side looked like missles would shoot out. Then in HUGE letters on the bumper ECLIPSE was on there.

If I see it again, I'm gettin a pic.

Yea, maybe I was misunderstood. I like american cars. A corsica isn't a bad car. It was just all "pimped out" and looked like SH*T.
There is a difference between good american cars and riced out ruined ones. I'll never, as long as I live own a foreign car. Even though european cars can sometimes perform better. AMERICAN MUSCLE IS KING FOREVER!!!

ahhh so if you saw a stock looking civic hatchback (no bodykit, no rims, no wing) with a B16 turbo swap and he smoked you in a freeway race, you wouldn't call him rice?

that's still rice IMO, but he gets more credit in my mind for keeping the civic stock looking. This theoretical civic owner is hard to find, most are "riced out" with nonfunctional wings and ground effects.

I didn't know the corsica wasn't stock, who the hell would "rice out a corsica? I can see this post getting locked if we don't quit.

All Hondas and Toyotas, and Mitsubishis are rice. Where do you think that tearm came from? Hawiian, I like cars, but little 4-banger civics are not worth worrying about sure there are some with turbos, and heavily moded engines, you'll have that. But no matter what if it is'nt America Muscle it's not worth my time. RICE is RICE MUSCLE is MUSCLE and a honda civic hasn't beaten me yet!

Nope. I'd call him an import racer. Import racer and ***** are not synnonymous. (OK I used a big word, and I'll bet I spelled it wrong )
