Hyundai vs. 35th anniv. SS Camaro

I don't know why anyone would buy a POS 35th anniversary SS Camaro Today my friend and I were riding in His Hyundai Excell and we came upon a 2002 SS Camaro. They sound terrible, and the paint job is trash, who would want one of those? My friend put the pedal to the floor and we raced it. We flew right by it and out of sight.

Yea right! I LOVE THE NEW SS 35th ANNIVERSARY CAMAROS!!! (don't get me wrong I love my 1990 IROC more) but the SS ROCKS! We really did try to race it but it was down and gone so fast I swear it was the fastest and sweetest sounding car I've ever seen. I WANT ONE BAD! It was so sweet. Too bad I wasn't driving my IROC though (it's wounded right now) I would have given him a fun challange. (Hyundais suck)

Those cars are bad a$$. Tell me what would you rather have, an SS and a Z06 of just a Viper. I would take and two chevys in a heartbeat.

I like this story better

From LS1.com:

Why Do Funny Cars Even Try?
I read a lot of bullsh*t on this board, so to pay a tribute to all the bullsh*tters out there posting crap, I figured I would post this lovely story that was posted a while back.....

"So last night I'm at El Loco Burro Bar and Grill drinkin my own personal keg with 20 beautiful models surrounding me when some guy walks in wearing a helmet and a flame retardent suit with John stitched on the front. He comes up to me and my ladies like he's hot **** and calls me out. He's like, "So word around town is that you think your car is pretty quick." and I was like, "Yeah it's not bad".
So he says, "Well if you think your car can run, why don't you put up some cash and run me?" so I'm like, "Well Johnboy, I would but I'm just trying to enjoy my keg and my women right now, so why don't you run along home to your wife and my kids."
You can tell he's gettin pissed, so he says "Hey no big deal, I've eaten rice like you for breakfast."
That's it. It's on.
"Well hey Johnboy, why don't we race for pink slips to make it interesting?"
He says, "Hey *****, I'd love to take your car off your hands"
So we go outside and he's got this weird lookin car with "Castrol GTX" painted on it and these big fat slicks on the back, so I knew this guy was serious.
I thought it was amusing that I drove to the starting line (the bean stand next to the town donkey) while he had to have his car towed there. "Not an everyday driver, huh Johnboy?" I said with a smirk on my face.
Now everyone in town knew that the donkey (Gerald) crapped every hour on the hour. So I told John that we would hit it when the third dump hit the ground. We only had about a minute or so.
I checked all my gauges to make sure everything was set and then put in my favorite 2Pac cd and played "Picture Me Rollin". He started his car up and it was pretty loud.
All of a sudden, the donkey's eyes started watering and his body shook. I knew it was time. #1 and #2 came out quick, and then when #3 hit the ground I hit it.
I couldn't see anything but sky - my Don Pablo wheelie bars had snapped instantly from the force - but I knew I had to hold it down to beat this clown. The front end came down and he was about a half car ahead, but I hit second so hard it felt like I got drop-kicked by ***.
I pulled him by about a carlength.
Now that wing on the back provides some pretty good downforce, but I had my thumb on the landing gear button (not posted in sig) just in case I had an unexpected liftoff.
But my car stayed on the ground, and I continued to put carlength after carlength on this guy. Since he called me a *****, I put on my turn signal and switched lanes on him and then hit the chutes.
We had started in Apestas, Mexico, and we were now in Phoenix, AZ. We both got out of our cars and he was like, "Man what do you have in that thing?" so I tell him, "Ah I got a few goodies. These VTec motors will hold a few thousand horsepower on the stock bottom end."
So I towed his car (my car now) back to Apestas while we both enjoyed cold A/C and a little 2Pac. He kept askin about all my mods, but I told him that according to the NHRA I could run in the "stock" class with guys like Bob Cosby.
So we got back and his pit crew just stared at him to figure out what happened, but he just shook his head. I took the Castrol car back to my garage and thought of what I could do to fix it up. Maybe a body kit with some 20's and a bigger wing......Any suggestions?

Oh BTW, I have a '96 Civic, sig coming soon"
