last night after trying to get a 84 mustang to race me (chicken sh*t backed out, I would have beaten the POS), I pulled up next to a 350 manual 78 Z28(or whatever year it came back) he said he didn't get good starts, light went green, we both took off and I got a lead (even with a buddy and subs in the car). I was about a 1/2 - 1 car ahead the whole time.....well until about 95-100 then he passed, I could hear him chrip them going in to 3rd (I was still trying to top 2nd out at about 70)

I was happy the rest of the night, sunday me and my buddy (76 camaro 355 auto) are going out cruising, we'll race at a stoplight, he runs a 15 flat, but who knows, maybe he'll spin, and he'll probably have his girlfriend with.

 

Good race even though he caught you. Not many other L03's out there racing that I know of. About your race with your buddy, um, his his g/f a big girl? You might want to hope so cause it sounds like you got 2.73's and I don't think you can do a 15 flat but hey, good luck.

 

haha, I know I can't do 15 flat, but we've been trying to tune his car and can't get it, so I figure I have a chance at an out-of-tune 15 sec car....at least on the street, I react quicker too, I'm not expecting to win, but you never know
