Just figured you guys would like hearing about a Mustang getting beat. Well he passed me then reved at me while he was in the median and I passed him. He had a *** awful body kit on it, I think it was the black widow one. Well anyways I go about 400 yards ahead and what do I see pull next to me? Him! He must have taken a U turn and come after me. Mistake 1. Well we went on up the road and he was jumping at me and reving while I was just going normal. Then I see him and his friend in the other seat laughing at me. I was just waiting for the open shot at this guy. Well after a while he just grove normal right next to me so I turn traction control off and drop it into 2nd at about 55mph and burn rubber for a while as I show him what I've got. Well I was about 3 cars ahead and he wouldn't come back up to me. So I slow back down and a silver 96-98 GT with a cobra hood pulls next to me. Oh great, two for one! :lala: So me and the 96-98 had the go cause we slowed down enough to make some room. I drop it into 2nd from 50mph and he gunned it and I gained about 1 car on him instantly. Well I was hoping that the 99 GT had more than this guy cause that wasn't even worth my gas. So the 99 GT was back to the jumping. So we get at this light side by side. Just what I wanted, a dead stop race. Now all I have to do is let the 4.10s shine. Well I launch with a chirp and the 99 GT looses about half a car in 1st and by the end of 2nd he was about 2 or 2.5 cars back then in 3rd it was just all over. Up to 70mph I just raped this guy. So he pulled next to me and starts asking what I got done and I tell him to pull over. So we did and he asked if I had nitrous and I said no. So he made me pop my hood cause he didn't believe me. And I asked why he was wondering if I had nitrous and he said "Cause back there when we raced you shot flames out of your exhaust" :sillylol: That was pretty funny. Well we just talked about his car and all the mods he had done which were alot! And I told him what I had and he was like "THATS IT!?" Ehhh you win some you lose some

 

Sounds like fun, was this in your 99, if so, what mods have you done that aren't in your sig? The reason I ask is because you said that you spun your tires at 55mph.

 

Nothing, I wish I could get better traction but with alot of miles and spinning tires the 245's in the back are almost bald and don't grab for ****.

I thought they always say that the 4.6 doesn't make alot of torque? HOw could you "burn rubber" at 55. Even on a bald tire. That is a pretty high speed to "burn rubber".
