I was just wondering if my 91 bird with aa 350 auto would beat a 2000 6cy mustang with a Rousch body kit. He says its fast but he couldnt even do a donut. But mabye he sucks at driving.

 

Since when does a body kit make it faster???

Honestly, I think it sometimes gets assumed that exterior modifications indicate the probability of engine modifications.

I think the Firebird will win.

 

Wait, are you seriously asking this question? The firebird will beat it like a red-headed stepchild. I rode in a 99 6 cylinder mustang and it was one of the most unimpressive cars I have ridden in. He got it powerbraked for a few seconds, tire spinning, let of brake and floored it, and had trouble spinning one tire more than 8 feet. My 2.8 camaro will spin it farther than that. My Trans Am when blessed by the LG4 would easily have beat that car. MAke sure you embarrass him in front of his friends.

 

My Trans Am when blessed by the LG4 was hard pressed to beat a 93 Taurus with the 140 hp 3.0, i doubt the same engine could take a 190-200 horsepower 3.8L in a stang.

At any rate, you'll win, make sure those tail lights are shiny, because that's what he's gonna see the most of

Do a burnout in front of him/her before the race...that should embarrass him at least.

The 4.6 liter Mustangs don't empress me...much less the V6 ones......

 

You will for sure beat him. I beat my friends 2001 6 cylinder Mustang with auto. Those ones are dogs and are for sure aren't competition for 350 Firebird.

 

The v6 mustangs are definately slow compared to a 350 but the brand new mustangs might take some of our 305s. Brand new i think some of them might run mid to high 15s. I raced my friend in his 2001 and was even with him from 40 till we shut it down at around 100(wasn't looking at speedometer). Of course off the line I killed him but from a roll some stock 305s might have their hands full.
I think there is no doubt that u will take as u have a :hail: 350. Tell us when us hand him his *** and how much u took him by.

 

After I get off work hes usaully hanging around the parking lot with his neons on. He waits there almost the wjhole time im at work waiting for his girlfriend. Ill let everyone know how it goes. Hes never seen my car but I told him what I had and he said hed smoke me but it was in front of his girl. So im ready to show him what ci's can do for a car.

 

He said he wasnt going to waist his gas beating me. So I just showed him what ci's are all about. Had the smoke rollin. He said aint nothing he did it but they werent spinning good just a little smoke then he let off the break and only spon for about 5 ft or so. I did that not even using the brake.

 

What a hoe next time tell him you will race for $50, be like now is it worth your time. Man people like that **** me off they wont wast thear gas to race you but they will wast tire and gas to do a brake stand how dumb. sry i had to vent

 

Watch out for the new Mustang GT's, there are fast. There was one at the track running low 14's stock, all he did was remove passenger headlights to improve flow. If your not carfeul they will leave you behind.

 

I'm just wondering, I hope your engine isn't stock or you have a 305, not 350.
