got beat by a Lexus SC 430

I was in my car at a red light right well the 2 lanes go into one about 300 feet down the road well i thought i would get the jump on her so i can get into the front. We werent even trying to race well she jumps out ahead when it turns green. I am flooring it all i got chirp them into second and so on. Well she pulls on me until i hit 115 and cant go any faster. She is still going. I never even had a change

POPPING THE HOOD. FLEXING. SAME DIFFERENCE. The SC 430, you see, has a 4.3-liter, 300-horsepower V8 with all-aluminum construction and is equipped with an Acoustic Control Induction System (ACIS) to adjust intake tract length for optimal torque. Plus continuously Variable Valve Timing with intelligence (VVT-i) provides optimum power as engine speed varies.

This I didnt know...Now I do...

Yup! The Lexus V8's get alot of respect from me. Quad Overhead Cam with VVT-i. Fine pieces of machinery!! Wish I was rich enough to work with them. Did you know they come with foarged internals from the factory? And I think somewhere around 70hp per ltr output (opposed to the 71 or so for the LS6 in the Z06).

Imagine a turbo version ... :hail:
