as i was pulling out of work tonight a white convertible GT gos flying by, well after talking cars and racing with the boys at work, i was pumped so i caught up with him, threw it in 3rd, and burped the throttle, well he got on it and i paced him, yes thats right i paced him, then just romped on it and took him by about a 1 1/2 cars. after that he just nodded and we went on our ways, he was pretty cool about it. then i was just about home and a nice looking 3rd gen z28 with a cowl hood drives by, so i follow him, well hes flooring it on every straight we go one and im just pacing behind him at about 3/4 throttle. we finally get up to a 4 lane road, were we can go and he pulls out all fast, i was thinking oh yeah were gonna go, i get on it and fly up beside him. THE PUNK PUTS ON HIS SIGNAL AND TURNS, i was soooo pissed. I hate people like that. oh well

not to be a jackass, but maybe that was where he had to turn. i know the feeling though, it seems right at the moment where its do or die to race, the road they need to be on comes up and there goes the blinker. i have a similarly set up 305 cept with a 5 speed and im going with the 262 cam. also 3.73 gear. good luck with the REAL 5.0. haha

yeah, im sure that is were he had to turn but the road was empty and everything, i have passed home many a times for a race

Like TunedportZ said, i have passed up my turn more than once to see how i hold up against another (never an import, or sport compact)

primer84z, Good choice of cam. It will really open up that 305. If you haven't already, throw a 2600-2800 stall in as well.

What I hate the most is passing my turn to go home and then the other person doesn't do a damn thing regardless. But what can you do, thats life.

yep thats what happened, we drove right past my house, and i followed him out onto the main road, and he acted like he wanted some then turned, i was pissed.... but like you said that life
