Education can be expensive

I'm really getting tired of all these people that THINK they have fast cars. I know I should just let them go about their ignorant ways, but I simply feel obligated to teach them via firsthand demonstration just what fast really is. I really am dedicated to educating the ignorant masses, unfortunately, I do not believe a Police officer is going to be too sympathetic towards my dedication when I'm caught doing 70mph in a 35.

Yep, as long as you realize that you don't have the fastest car either, then you're not a hipocrite.

Yeah there's a lot of those people out there, and it sucks. Problem is they don't know really what a fast car is like; they just don't have the experience.

are you trying to tell me that a 89 civic with a 3 inch tip on the muffler and a filter with a supra wing is not a fast car???

or what a an 89 CRX with a ITR/GSR swap into it with I/H/E and some weight reduction isn't fast?

Oh, you'll never here me using the word fastest. Oh wait, I just said it. Damn it, you made me say the word fastest. Now I must repent and go pick a fight with a new Z06.

Oh, and the instigator of this post. A Mercury Cougar. Not the old style ones, but the late 90s one that didn't last more then a few years. Front wheel drive auto with a 4banger or v6 (don't remember exactly what was available on these cars, but I do remember they were all rather uninspiring). This wasn't even an apparent *****, didn't even really notice the guy, but when the light went green, his tires went chirp-chirp (well ok, it was just a single short chirp, but you get the idea). So I just had to educate. Pedal to the floor, engine goes roar, 7 seconds later I pass a cop doing 70 in a 35, having opened up easily several car lengths on the jumpy Cougar with an ill-formed view of his 'sporty' car. Fortunately for me, the white-and-blue just sat there. Whether oblivious or uncaring (and I'm assuming the former), I was granted a free pass, and it made me reflect on the cost of my lessons, which under the right circumstances are not free in the least.

Hey RX7 what's an I/H/E? Intake/Header/Exhaust? Were you being sarcastic when you said the CRX would be fast, or are they seriously fast with the GSR swap and I/H/E (I'm assuming that they are?). Sorry I know nothing about imports.......
