if they have a civic race car running in the 8's (hell maybe even the 7's) so what if they are tubbed

And btw I bought me another 2nd gen RX-7. LOL this makes my what...3rd one? I sold the Turbo II with the bad clutch. I really want to put a Turbo II engine in this one car it is in the best condition I have had so far. Wait should we be talking about this? I mean its not thirdgen related...

Wouldn't a Civic need some traction mods to get into the 11s? I mean....2 turbos on a built GSR engine would probably get it into the 12s...but after that you need some more mods than just turbos.

I would agree that they could get into the 11s, but not without (at least) street slicks. They'd probably need real slicks, if not wheelie bars too. Once all that power cuts in from the TTs, the weight will come off the drive wheels, and a lot of torque will be wasted in a spin.
