Anyone else find that pathetic and amusing????
First, they had to wet down the parking lot you can tell, cause there is a wet ring around it.
And then they had to have some pads for the back wheels.
That dualie (howevery you spell it) was pretty cool though.

IwanIwanIwanIwanIwanna erase that...
...from my memory.
I knew they were a gang of butt-darts when I sensed the "what are you gonna do, mere POLICE OFFICER???" attitude.
Our rides do that in the dry, on demand, with the proper axle throwing the power.
I want those 65 seconds back. The music was all that got me past the first ten secs...
Peace,
K

I think that's just pathetic. I hate FWD. I don't like the idea of the front wheels doing all the work of steering and driving and the rear wheels just come along for the ride. AWD Scubies are cool though. I don't find doing donuts appealing. If those cars were drifting then I would say that was a cool video. If I am going to waste some tread on a tire, I might as be going forward some distance instead of spinning in a circle.

Of course you are going to shred more tire doing drifting though
. Drifting is one of the most inefficient forms of racing or driving is pretty dangerous, but it looks sooooooooooo cool to see it, which makes it worth it. I can drift in Gran Turismo now, I still am not even going to dare to try it in real life.

Drifting is fun......I'm nowhere near knowing what the hell i'm doing.....
BUT
I can SORTA do it in the rain, the trick for me is to go about 25 mph.......then turn the sterring wheel all the way to the left and punch it, therefore sending the back end out like you are gonna do a 180.....when the back end is going out completely turn the opposite way.....and you KINDA drift around the large u-turns....
Like i said no where near the better people, but it's very fun for reckless driving in the rain......

Ever try it in the snow, oh wait you live in Florida so that would be a big negative. In snow, a drift is inevitable.

speaking of drifting in the snow...i had my first good snow in the Talon last night!!whoo hoo is that car a blast.i have the FWD stability and grip, but at the same time the same reckless and fun *** end out ability of a RWD'er.oh yeah and the same safety that a RWD gives when it comes to being able to throttle steer when the front tires lose their grip
.i cant wait till we get some serious white stuff so i can have some major parking lot fun!and i just watched that video.it just begs for one question to be asked:Why are HonDUH owners sooo imcompetently STUPID?
it seems as though they are a bunch of unruly assclowns that give the rest of the auto enthusiast world a bad rap.

Actually doing the tray doughnuts is a lot of fun.
I'm an irresponsible kid. I know.
I think our tray doughnuts are better though. :-D http://www.motorsportconnect.com , click Intro Video. My buddy really can get his little Protégé to move. Their footage is better but I think our zeroes were better.

I think it is fun to do, but not watch.
i thought the wrx and the dualie were cool, but the rest were pathetic. we just had a snowstorm here in maine the other day and i was stuck at my g/f's, but her dad made me leave anyways,(diqhead) and i was doing fishtails and some other wreckless fun all the way home. usually a 20 min. drive home took me almost 40 mins. one time i didn't even attempt to cause the tires to spin, but i wasgoing uphill and all of a sudden the RS started pulling one way so i pulled the other and fishtailed most of the way up the hill.
That was highly GEHY! Who would video tape a economy car with food trays under the rear tires, and having to wet a dry parking lot so that they can do donuts? Hell give me $50 and I will show you a REAL 2nd gear donut on dry pavement.

Imports are just pathetic......... Need I point out the Nissan Skyline, Supra, Silvia, and 300ZX twin turbo, all of which are rear wheel drive and can rival F-bodies.
Go over to Japan or any other country and imports are domestics. You can buy a BMW from Germany, cruise the countries all the way to England, ship the car on the boat, and it will cost less than if you get it at a dealership. It's been done before. The U.S. puts a big tax on imported cars so that more people will buy American cars because they are affordable.
Well so far 3 of my friends that have 1994 GSX, 1996 GS-T, and a 1997 GS-T have about all together seriously $20,000 in parts and labor. It makes me sick, after one of them had had his engine crank walk on him a second time I tried to talk them into selling their cars. But they are die hard fans. Too bad their cars are going to die hard.
I will NEVER own a Mitsu.
Tip of the day: 3000GT VR4's 6 speed can only handle 350hp.

Downloaded it....watched it
That movie reminds me of people on sleds. Hmmmm....let's slide around.
It would have been half decent had they been getting ANY traction. Let's face it....spinning out on wet pavement is poor driving, not style.

Besides being stupid, all those cars seemed to have issues spinning the tires on the wet pavement! I think it is stupid to have a wet parking lot, but for a stand still burnout, getting the tires wet does help alot!
Still, 2nd gear and a 4500 clutch dump with the wheel cranked, end of story!
They don't even know how to do proper donuts, I only saw a few cars go around more than once!!!

Ok, I still fail to understand the whole food tray under the rear tires thing. I could pull a donut in a 1980's Pontiac Sunbird using the e-brake.
None of that was impressive. I practically do that exact same thing every time I do a u-turn.

I dunno if I agree with all your complaints over the wet pavement... sure it is a show of weak *** little engines, but I much prefer doing donuts in a snowy parking lot that on dry pavement... better for my tires and a greater angular velocity can be reached
Damn that was a boring movie... same thing over and over and over and over and over.
