local hangout---dodge stratus kill.... (long)
went to the local hangout tonight for the first time. lets see we rolled out form a buddy of mines house, none of us has been there before (it's on the other side of the water and about 25 miles away) anyway we roll out in our cars, me in the IROC and them in their stratuses. (both show quality cars) one a 2.0 4cyl 5spd the other a 2.4 auto.
well on the way there I hang in the back for most of the trip.
their weaving in and out of traffic, getting up their in speed, but not doing anything stupid. Me I have no problem keeping up.
we're in the left lane passing cars when we come around this corner and what do we see? a state copper getting ready to do a traffic stop, brake lights come on...and we slow down, lucky the cop doesn't see us. well we roll up to the parking lot around 11PM, it's already got some cars there. we park and walk around (cold as hell) let me tell you ALOT of mustangs, mostly fox bodys or the newer ones. the fox bodys were all tricked out while alot of the new ones where special editions (not cobras or Salleens, I forgot what kind).
other than the Mustangs, very few other domestics there, 2 SS's
a 4th gen with a big block hood and some big a$$ tires. one other 3rd gen (a RS).
lots of imports and a ton of ****.
because of the cops hanging out in the back ground no one was doing anything. we hung out for about an hour and decided to take off (did I say It was too cold)
anyway we get on the hwy and the two stratus's take off like a bat (with a broken wing) out of hell. seems the guy with the auto, was talking smack to the guy with the stick. well they are off, I hang out in the rear to see whats up. the guy with the stick gets the upper hand and whups on the auto. I know he is happy. guy with the auto gets off at his exit, flashes his lights and calls it a night.
I start to follow the 2.0 stick home. I can tell he is jumpy reving, switching lanes etc. well the road goes down to two lanes, and a tunnel is getting ready to come up. he's in the right lane I'm behind him. I see that the road Is clear up ahead for a while (I also know there in no place for cops to hide)
I pull up next to him look into his car, he's hugging his steering wheel with his left hand got the right on the shifter. I can see he is ready to go. ( time to show him what a real car can do) I get my car even with his, we are about 60 MPH now, I let off the gas, he down shifts and guns it, I drop the car from OD to D and and floor it. he gets the jump, about half a fender in front, and then I reel him in, by the time I let off the gas I'm at 100MPH and he is a speck in my rear view, not killed, demolished!!!! he flashes his lights, pulls up behind me (no ***** fly by, he's better than that) and I lead us home. we pull up to the house he's like
"I almost had you" I'm like no he is not saying this!!! I respond "you never had me, you never had your car" these guys love TF&TF.........
well that was my night

You're almost as funy as I am, man. That quote from TF&TF. Oh my G0D. Reminds me of that guy telling a story about the clown cars rolling up in V formation.
There's nothing wrong with that, except for the only reason they're doing it is because of a damn movie. I mean, come on.
Well, everyone have a safe and happy Christmas.
Maybe if some of you are good enough, you'll get an OLDSMOBILE for Christmas. heeheehee

good peopl, but you can't account for taste.
about the V formation, I was reminded of that when I went to the auto shop a week ago to put on my cat-back and headers, the truck in front of me was filled with boxes that had "summit" and "hooker" and "Headmans" written all over them
