"Modded"94 Accord vs. ...
My friend has a very slightly modded accord:intake, muffler and strut bar...yea...thats it.But he does have a 5 speed and mine is auto,so I don't know if that will help him any but before when I had my factory exuast he would get ahead of me when he would shift into 3rd.
Not puttin money on it, but he just challenged me over the net for tomorrow. My car is mostly stock with whatever gears the Lo3 has...3.08's?I have no traction I will spin all the way through 1st.I'm thinking about new gears but how much do they run for?

I think you should be fine.
"intake, muffler and strut bar" don't do too much for performance, especially on a Honda. With that 350, you should have no problem toasting him.

Just make sure you guys go for a good long run, minimum of a 1/4 mile. The HP will win out every time, if the race is long enough. In my old Century, I'd never race less than a quater mile, because with the good ol three speed, you couldn't get out of the hole infront to save you life, but if you stayed in it, you could get it back by 80 - 90 mph. I had to take her to 130 once, a Focus ZTS surprised me from a roll around 45, and jumped WAY out. Couldn't lose to a Ford though, especailly anything less than a 5.0
Just give yourself room to let the HP do the work.

i don't think you'll have a problem, especially since the accord is hardly modded... unless he's hiding a bottle

You need a posi in the rearend and some drag radials! Why not dump the TBI and put a carb on it or go Tuned Port FI.

I would second the dump the TBI route... a good carb is so much easier to work with. Metering rods vs. proms....
First let me say one thing, I drive a honda and bolt on mods (I/H/E) do nothing for the performance, it could possibly take .1 off the quarter with an IHE set-up. So you can basically disregard the mods you listed as doing anything for that car. As for your race, my buddy in his 94 accord lx auto (non-vtec) with exhaust and intake, beat a late 80's early 90's 305 auto. He walked him from 40-70. It was actually pretty funny because we all thought the 3rdgen would win hands down. The kid said the car needed a tune-up bad (it had 110+ miles; but so did the accord- 118,000mi.). Just my input
It should be a good 17 sec. race

Make sure you doa a good burnout before you run. THat will help with what little traction you got.

I can't believe my eyes... you should unplug two spark plug wires just to make the defeat more embarassing... there is no way that you can lose... and if you lose don't come crying back to us, because you will have to commit Hari-kari to keep face.
