IMO this is gonna be a very close race that can go either way. You have an Auto with 170HP, 255TQ, and 2.73's. He has a 5-Speed with 165HP, 250TQ, and 3.23's, or 3.73's if its got G92. If he can drive I will say he might win. If he can't then I think you will.

back it up 10-15 ft then stage the car. when you back it up 10 feet or so it resets the posi unit so it will hit true posi.

Yeah, thats the funniest thing ive heard in a while. I think its called umm let me think......
How can it reset the limited slip into posi when posi is just a nickname for limited slip? They are both the same thing. Who told you that load of crap?

It will be a very close race. And about the resetting the posi thing, I am going to agree with 25HTRSS, limited slip is just another way of saying posi. Posi is short for positraction, therefore, they are one in the same. limited slip is just some clutches between the two axles, there is no resetting it.

well take it for what it's worth then. all i know is many irocs, and i've driven many, if you don't do this they only light up one tire ( usually the right one) after you do it both light up.
and ummm to clarify somethings i've been around GM cars and dragracing for 15 years and we run a Top Alcohol Dragster that runs 5.3's at 265 mph. but then again i don't know what i'm talking about
