the only 3000gt you gotta worry about is vr-4. they have twin turbo. i think you should have no problem takin out a nonturbo with your setup. im sure everyone else will agree.

Non turbo 3000Gt's were RWD (I think )... but still nothing to worry about at around 3600 lbs..

No FWD is not better in any way... just that more weight sits on the tires at rest and slow speeds... but with weight transfer in reality the power is applied better to the rear wheels... only if you can't get traction will FWD be better.

the camaro wins from a light and or roll i think also.

your car is most likely in the mid to low 14's and the gt is like mid 15's to low 15's

You should beat him. He is modded, so he will be closer than a stock one. His car at best would run like a 14.8 or so. You should be able to beat him.

Just dont make the mistake I did and race a VR-4 with a 305. Even though my 305 was more than lightly modded, my ego is still hurt from not being able to beat a r^icer. Stupid **** has 1/2 on me until his car died, was funny as hell though. So I guess I did kill his car when sparks flew out of muffler. I guess he ran too much naaaawwwsss and his floor panel flew out.

Nope. They are all wrong wheel drive. If it's not a VR-4 don't worry. They are heavy and slow.

Since he probably won't get out of the 15's, you will definately get a couple car lengths. Good Luck
