Stomped a 91 5.0 stang!!
Last night I roll up to a light and a clean white 5.0 pull's up beside me. It was loud, but not radical(no lumpy idle). I asked him what he had in it, he told be BBKcai, headers, 2.5exaust(flowmaster), off road h-pipe, pulley's, 3.73's, and there were a few other's, but I can't remember. So we roll away slow, still talking, and get lucky enough to hit the next light
. He told me he ran a 13.8 wt no traction, don't know if I beleive him.(I ran a 13.9 last year before the SLP runner's, headers, TC, and LCA's) Anyway the light turned green, and we both had no traction. We hooked around the same time and I jumped a full car on him, by the time I hit aroun 110MPH, I had him by around 3.5 cars. This is not the first one I have beat, but is the first this year. And yes it was a 5-speed. Wooohooo.
GOTTA LOVE MY OWN PERSONAL FACTORY FREAK!!

Cool, I only did not believe him because he was younger and a little cocky, but you are definetly right that those mod's should be good for a high 13.

was it a 5-speed? if it was he needs to learn how to drive, that seems a bit high for what he's got, still good kill man, I'm assuming you've got a 350?

Thank's for the feedback Nic
Ya 363, it is a 91 5.7. I have heard that the 96-98 Cobra's were not very fast. I remember hearing that the Cobra's were pulled out of production because they were not putting out the advertized power, but I think that was more recent than 97-98.

Yea, that was '99 and the problem was fixed in a recall. There shouldn't be many '99 year model Cobras out there that are down on power anymore.

Well, the 4.6's are not the fastest car's, but I would not say a factory high 13 is too bad, but I must say the 03 is a whole new beast. Good luck to all with your motor's, I won't be starting mine until this winter.
