the other night i was bored so i decided to go out for a cruise and look for some races i figured i would find a lot of r i c e r s since that 2 fast to furious came out so im cruising doing about 40 down the highway when i see these lights coming up behind me pretty quick and i look infront of me and the light turns red and the car coming up behind me pulls into the lane next to me and looks over and smiles and laughs at me then he throws me a rev and his car was loud so i throw him a rev back and he continues to laugh i bring up my revs and the light turns green and i launch i took him off the line and put about 4-5 cars on him and then the next lights up ahead turns red and he pulls up next to me again and says dam man u got work done to that right and i said yeah its a 305 hooker catback cold air ported plentum and runners and i went 13.1 @ 104 and he had a 97 cobra full exhaust and chip and he said the first run he couldent hook in first if he did he would of had me so he wanted a rematch so i was like ok so the light turned green and he hooked and we took off and i still beat him by about 4 cars and i was spraying both runs. put him in his place now whos laughing

i guess the cobra owner doesn't know much about cars if he believed your 305 went 13.1 to start with.

cause thats what he runs. amazing its only a little 305 huh? off the spray hes good for high14s/low 15s... but with a 125 shot used at just the right time he has run consistant low 13s at 103/104

i thought he had told the cobra driver that he ran the 13.1 with just the mods listed and didn't tell him he was spraying. which still seems to me after reading it again what he was trying to say, calm down pal.

Dude big al relax you seem a little upset, a 305 can pull 13s as long as its tuned port, you can do a million things with it and that 305 is a full roller motor I know plenty of guys breaking 13's with 305 tpis its not impossible its just 10 times harder than with a 350, and I have seen guys with stock 305 IROCs running 14.9 dont get the 305 tpi mixed up with the lg4 and 103. i really hate the way everyone rags on the lo3! i know plenty of peple who run 13's and that is without boring it out and switching tto carb! and unfortunatly with the correct adaptations... bigger and better heads, cam and intake... all the nos in the world will go 12's!!..


plus it is much much cheaper to get our cars to go 12's than a TPI

but then again! my car sucks a$$ lol

i know that but hes not the only one who says that! my friends think their big sh*T because they baught their 350 tuned port! thats like buying a cobra blah blah blah I like to work for my performance even if it is with a crappy TBI Lo3 305
