F-body Wave?
I think we should start the Fbody wave. The vette guys have it, why cant we? I say wave at all 1st, 2nd 3rd, and yes even 4th gens. We all drive the same car that has been made an american icon for the past 35 years and i think it would be cool to always wave at a fbody as you pass by them. Spread the word fellas and fell-ets.. How bout it?
*mods, please dont lock this. I really want to get this going. I think it would be very cool to see all the fbodies friends instead of my gen is better then your gen.

Every Camaro I have passed on im Iroc has waved....I also wave to every Camaro as well.......The only one that i can remember that hasnt waved is someone on their cell phone......so it already happens here in MI, atleast where i live........but yeah it feels cool when you wave to someone with the the same american legend...

Damn you guys are lucky, the Mustang guys usually wont even look over. And if they do they wanna run! I usually nod or whatever but get a stupid look or a rev! If you can get this going I can use it to help with the Mustang crowd!
Good luck

I already wave to just about every F-body I see. Gotta acknowlege American history icons. I wave to old muscle cars too, hey they put lots of work into their cars too.

I have the wave, the rev, the thumb up, or for those special cars (non- American icons) one finger.

I totally agree with this statement
I usually wave or give the old thumbs up to "any" F-body regardless of gen

I always wave to other F bodys. I wave to any car that I think is really cool, Mustangs included. when I get my license back, I'll bring back the wave.

Hey I wave too. It gets me pissed off when they dont wave back. I did talk to another guy that was beside me at a light with a little v6 camaro. It just gives me chills sometimes to talk to another guy or girl that loves the same car I do. It's like some kind of brotherhood or something. It brought a tear to my eye not being able to go to the thirdgen nationals. I'd been planning on that for months only for my GTA to have a head gasket leak and a blown piston ring.
Too bad all third gen owners dont come to this board and learn how to wave to each other. I guess we have to start somewhere though dont we. GOOD POST TOPIC bigal. I hope it catches on! :hail: to fellow muscle car guys.

whenever a ***** goes by me, I point at him/her to get their attention. Then, I pinch my nose as if something smells really bad and I continue to point at them. its sooooo funny to see their faces after that.

Harley guys wave with their hand down (ie., pointing at the ground), all the rest of the bikers give a regular wave.

i too give a nod to the 3rd gen owners (in nice condition) and maybe the other occasional nice lookin' classic muscle cars, but that's it.
i don't tend to acknowledge a 4th genner unless they do me first. usually the LT1s and reg. firebirds are more friendly seeing that i have a trans am too. i've really no interest in talking to a guy who's mom just spent 20G's for him to have a '02 SS or what have you. not saying all of them or that i'm rude, just seems how it is.

Essentially a crotch rocket with softer spring settings for a more comfortable ride, and no wind fairing then. Not a bad cruiser.

I already wave all the time up here in the NE, if the cam/bird I see looks really badass like mine then I give them the metal sign  , I get about a 50% wave back rate.

springs are plenty stiff.. entire suspension is redone.. (rear shock hasnt been replaced in that pic)... diffrent cam, cleaned up the intake, diffrent heads, diffrent gearing, and ofcourse everything else you see.. clipons, mirrors, mini turn signals, ect....
to come:
dual 320mm disc brakes with F2 front rims and a 8.5"VFR wheel modded for my single nut swingarm... with 02 R1 calipers.
honda hawks in alot of peoples opinions are one of the best handling performance platforms ever mass produced by honda... check out some sites.. its a cool and popular racing bike....
and while i have driven it from SC coast to Dallas and back, and around the east coast, its not really a cushy bike... ive done the same thing with other more common sportbikes... i must have a hard *** or somthing.

wave? that's old news. When I see a nice thirdgen I normally chase em down and point them to this site. Happened last week when a white 88 notchback GTA went by the intersection I was sitting in. Caught up to him and talked at a stop light. Bet it was a nice site....both styles of GTAs cruising together down empty freeway.

I have a worse story than that. I was at a concert when I was 14 and this guy started licking my friends ear. We all ran screaming "DON'T DROP THE SOAP!!"
I usually wave but get glared at. I think it's the hair below my shoulders and the high school parking permit
. My favorite is rolling the windows down and listening to classical music all the way up.
I get some funny reactions from that.

sometimes i wave, if it's during the day, i'll turn my lights on and off real quick, especially if i have my windows up (you can't see in the car).
if i see somebody (no matter what car they drive) checking out my car, i'll usually nod or wave or give them a thumbs up. because, hey you never know, it could be one of us. one time i was driving my friend's "fast" accord (
) and i pulled up next to a brand new yellow vette at a light. i gave him a big thumbs up, then i felt like a jackass when i realized what is driving.
you better start acknowledging 4th gens, i'll have one next month. and trust me, daddy ain't payin for it
