hmm....lets see, 102 rpm......108000 some odd horsepower, weighing 2300 tons........I say it'd never make it off the line. It'd crater the damn track!!!

It almost seems like that is a joke. I wonder what they are gonna use that in. My geuss it is just for research. That thing must have cost sooooo much to make.

Page said it's used in container ships and cargo vessels. You know, 500' long floating cities.

I have one of those in my car, I had to move back the firewall about an inch and I ported it a little so it screams up to 104rpm, Im having a hard time keeping a tranny in my car tho. Im thinking about nitrous and a turbo but Im already having trouble with traction...

"RTA96-C turbocharged two-stroke diesel engine"

looks like you don't even know what you have?? lol

maybe you meant an "upgraded" turbo...

an yah i don't think you need a tranny for that thing. just floor it and watch the rpm's fly......but that would mean raw hp. no losing any to the tranny.

108,920 hp at 102 rpm to the wheels...
5,608,312 lb/ft at 102rpm to the wheels!

If you had that thing in a car and had traction I do not think you would go down the track, I think you would bring the end of the track to you and roll the pavement up on your wheels.
