Actually now that I am at school I dont really have time to go to the Pike anymore. My car is at home and when I do go back I have to rebuild my traction loc and weld in subframes. But hey, I am looking for a 12.9 so I am gonna do the work!
Hey 25th, why don't you take your digital camera or use a scanner and post your slips from the other night.

Lord , I remember that doofus with the 99 cobra that liked to rub in how fast it was. He got kicked off of this board like 3 times and still kept coming back with a different name.. that kid was in :lala: land.

Honestly, I think the mustang guys on this board, now, are better than most of the mustang guys on the mustang boards. Everyone on this board seems more down-to-earth than the guys on most boards.

Yes 1.75, and I had a 1.74 after that run. It is nice, and 100% stock suspension also.

My friend has uppers, lowers, removed sway bar, and slicks and has all he can do to get 1.7 60ft's! BUT, our track is crap in the traction department. What tires you running? I'm guessing you run at Lebanon Valley. My friend lives near there, ran a his 93 GT a few weeks ago. Another kid that went to college here also runs there with his black 03 Cobra, rna 12.8 stock with it I guess. I hear that track HOOKS! I'll probably go down next spring and try it out. My friend got better times there than he did here.

Actually right now my best pass at Lebanon Valley (LVD) is a 13.21 @ 102, but that was before the traction loc rebuild. My best 60' there is a 1.794 (again before the T-loc). I ran that time at New England Dragway (NED) which hooks much harder than LVD and is at a lower elevation (not by much, maybe 500 feet). I will be heading to Etown soon, with a 75mm Mass Air Meter, sunframes, and an Aluminum Driveshaft, to see what the car has left before the car goes under the knife for a few tricks and a rebuild.

I do have the sway bar gone, but the car still seems to spin out of the hole, even going 1.75.

I will be down there for Fords @ Etown, but they might not let you run. I am all for playing with some Fbodies in anyones backyard, especially when it is faster than my backyard! I am not too worried because this is the last race and this winter will bring some new parts and mid 12s or so!

Hahaha dont think I will have the fastest Mustang there... oh boy, there will be everything from 7 second Outlaw cars, to 18 second V6 verts. Head down with the Fbodies , and send some bolt on ones out to play!

Personally I dont care if I lose, more incentive to mod, but remember I am not building to kill all Fbodies, I am building to run mid to low 12s with a stock cam, stock heads, and bolt ons!

I kinda wish I had ran my car with sticky tires when before the SC. All I ever ran with was my crap Nitto's, stuck in the 2.07-2.15 60ft with spin in 2nd mostly from bad track prep. My best ET was a 13.80@100 and my best MP was a 13.95@103 with exhaust, pulleys and cold air. I still have stock gears and everything, TB, MAF, all suspension, sway bars, A/C, and a 150lb stereo system. I know my 3.27's are not helping me much...but I get into alot of highway races...I can go 150+ with ease now...and not even tunring the motor up much! It's a 100% street car that I race once in awhile, like to do heads/intake this winter/spring. Not sure yet. My traction loc is shot also, my best times were on a one wheel peel kinda. Would not do a burnout with 2 tires but hooked pretty good off line, well to get a 1.90 on crap Nitto's. It was a scary 1st 100 ft or so!! All over the place!!

You can go pretty fast with stock cam, just retard it a few degrees to bring the power up some. Thats what alot of guys do. Can also shave stock heads for some more compression. My friend had a home built 306, 10:1, home ported TFS heads, cam, Victor JR also home ported, 650 carb, 4.30's, full exhaust with cutouts, etc. He ran a 11.5@119 with that combo. He knows his stuff though and did alot of research and used all good parts from front to back. That was also years ago when parts were not as easy to find for EFI. I didn't want to touch the motor at all and got my SC used for $500 so I went that route. I know I can get some more out of it with some little things. I need to get some more gear, maybe 3.73's...thats been killing me for awhile now.

Exactly like my dad did. His is retarded 4 degrees, and with a set of GT-40P heads, Cobra intake, and the rest of the bolt ons he has seen a 12.38 @ 110. I might retard the cam, but the heads are definately getting some attention.

I was thinking about some GT-40P's, I think I may have talked to your father on AOL IM before....combo sounds familiar. I would like to get aluminum heads but I have a very small budget. Was thinking about getting some GT40P's and doing some mild cleanup on the ports and what not. That and a an intake, leave stock cam I think.

Thats pretty good, I'm probably about 320-330 right now from my trap speeds. I'm guessing his car is pretty light. No, the guy I talked to is from CT and has a green 91 LX hatch..

You sure he is from CT. My friend Stan has nearly that combo, GT-40Ps, Cobra Intake, and bolt ons, and has a green 1991 LX (his IM name has to do with green 91 LX) and he went 12.4 @ 110 or so. He lives in MA or NJ (depending) but I will almost gaurentee you talked with him. Its funny because now my dads car makes more than Stans (281 to Stan's 274) and they are having their last Factory Race today. I hope they are low 12s and have a good time.

Yep, thats him! I was going to buy some ET Streets from him awhile ago but got some BFG Drags for free from a friend, yet to try them though. Cool guy. His IM name is greenlx91...have not seen him on in awhile. I took my car apart, clutch disk blew apart, ordered a SPEC Stage II, had a stage I...and only 7000 miles on it! spring blew right out of it. I posted pics in the corral.

Yeah he changed IM names a little while back for some odd reason. Plus he only goes on at work. He ran 12.38 in Factory Trim yesterday @ 109-110, but ended up losing in the finals. Stans a good guy and definately someone to learn from!
