Actually now that I am at school I dont really have time to go to the Pike anymore. My car is at home and when I do go back I have to rebuild my traction loc and weld in subframes.
But hey, I am looking for a 12.9 so I am gonna do the work!

, I remember that doofus with the 99 cobra that liked to rub in how fast it was. He got kicked off of this board like 3 times and still kept coming back with a different name.. that kid was in :lala: land.Honestly, I think the mustang guys on this board, now, are better than most of the mustang guys on the mustang boards. Everyone on this board seems more down-to-earth than the guys on most boards.

Actually right now my best pass at Lebanon Valley (LVD) is a 13.21 @ 102, but that was before the traction loc rebuild. My best 60' there is a 1.794 (again before the T-loc). I ran that time at New England Dragway (NED) which hooks much harder than LVD and is at a lower elevation (not by much, maybe 500 feet). I will be heading to Etown soon, with a 75mm Mass Air Meter, sunframes, and an Aluminum Driveshaft, to see what the car has left before the car goes under the knife for a few tricks and a rebuild.
I do have the sway bar gone, but the car still seems to spin out of the hole, even going 1.75.

, and send some bolt on ones out to play!Personally I dont care if I lose, more incentive to mod, but remember I am not building to kill all Fbodies, I am building to run mid to low 12s with a stock cam, stock heads, and bolt ons!

I will be down there for Fords @ Etown, but they might not let you run. I am all for playing with some Fbodies in anyones backyard, especially when it is faster than my backyard! I am not too worried because this is the last race and this winter will bring some new parts and mid 12s or so!

It's a 100% street car that I race once in awhile, like to do heads/intake this winter/spring. Not sure yet. My traction loc is shot also, my best times were on a one wheel peel kinda. Would not do a burnout with 2 tires but hooked pretty good off line, well to get a 1.90 on crap Nitto's. It was a scary 1st 100 ft or so!! All over the place!! Supreme Member

Mine is a 100% street car also, with AC, CDplayer, Leather, and all the power options, and I will never give that up! I dont have heads, or cam plans, but I do have a few things and some goals!

My friend had a home built 306, 10:1, home ported TFS heads, cam, Victor JR also home ported, 650 carb, 4.30's, full exhaust with cutouts, etc. He ran a 11.5@119 with that combo. He knows his stuff though and did alot of research and used all good parts from front to back. That was also years ago when parts were not as easy to find for EFI. I didn't want to touch the motor at all and got my SC used for $500 so I went that route. I know I can get some more out of it with some little things. I need to get some more gear, maybe 3.73's...thats been killing me for awhile now.

He lives in MA or NJ (depending) but I will almost gaurentee you talked with him. Its funny because now my dads car makes more than Stans (281 to Stan's 274) and they are having their last Factory Race today. I hope they are low 12s and have a good time.
