This is meant as to document my kills since my local board deleted them for reference.

This one stock tranny and rear...

I was at B-Bops. I love old cars and respect fast cars. Except that one guy with the WRX he was stupid. He could have got someone killed. I had a guy at my fiance's school with a Mustang 5.0. I told him that I had a 5.0 slow 305 and would race him. I told him that I don't have a third gear (blew it) so I would have to shut her down at 80 or so. He agreed and we went to the light and were off. I spun out because my car is finicky. I beat him all througout first and then my cam kicked in and I whooped him hard. I went to shift to second. I missed second (stock shifter no spring loaded rachet shifter or anything) and when to third. I was just sitting there against the rev limiter so I let off and put her in second. His car was next to me now and I pulled off once again. I got in front of him and shut her down at 80. To bad my throttle linkage made me have a really fast rev after that. Idling at 3,000 (its fixed) is not good (detonation)

 

I was at the autoshine hanging out with people during the summer talking about cars and just enjoying the night. A kind of nice Nova pulled up with what I found out to be a 406 Camaro. He was like,

HIM:"Know of any fast cars?"
ME: "Well I have my RS"
HIM: "I am looking for real cars"

Well they got in their cars and left. I was not happy about his comment but I waited until the next time we met up. This was after my tranny broke at the track and I saw him driving. I revved my stall at him (no need for neutral). I pulled out of the gas station next to him. He must have forgot our earlier meeting.

HIM: Your car quick?
ME: No its pretty slow
HIM: Wanna Run?
ME: Sure only through first and second my third gear is broke.

Well we raced and after give him a head start I linelocked launched and pulled on his 4.88 with my 2.73's quick. Passed him in second and man was he a sore loser.

HIM: Your car can't be a 305 it has to be a 406.
ME: I said it came stock with a 305 and I don't have a 406.
HIM: Thats just too fast, your car doesn't run 16's.
ME: I got the timeslips to prove it

Truth to be told I was happy for making him think twice. Also that 406 Camaro lost to the Chevelle. Yeah baby!

 

Yeah I took the ole girl out on the ave and alot of people were giving @#%$ about having a 305 RS. The Boss with the Viper knew what was up and we did burnouts down first ave. It was fun getting ****ty through downtown and hearing the engines echo off the buildings. It was fun, the problem came when I stomped on it the motor would draw so much vaccum it would suck brake fluid out and throw it on my headers. Leaking resevoir (fixed now). I had a guy place a bet on me that I would smoke that LT-1 Formula Firebird (he said he would put 500 down) the guy didn't want to race.

 

This one is funny. I did this one with my stock tranny and converter.

Well I was at B Bops (car show) and this guy I know from school was going around looking at cars.

Him: I got my car here.
ME: Really, what is it?
Him: Ford Thunderbird Super Coupe. It's fast it beats mustangs and stuff. Killed two on the way over here.
Me: Really?
His Friend: Yeah dude this car is fast.
Me: I'll race ya
Him: What do you drive?
Me: A camaro RS that originally came with a 305, 170 hp and 280 ft/lbs.
Him(looks at engine): I don't know.
His Friend: Come dude you could take him.
Him: Alright

So we pulled out and went to m race spot. I had my friends sister with me and she was a little worried I would lose since the guy was pretty confident he could beat me. I had it in first and that low first gear of the 700R4 made some really impressive stomps on the accelerator.

His Friend: Holy cow dude your cars got some *****!
Me: What ever (something to that affect)
My Friends Sister: You think you can win?
ME: Honestly I don't think he has a cold chance in hell.
Her: OH

Well we are off at the green light and cars were neck and neck through first gear. Both cars had some squeel but pretty alright launchs. My car was fighting my converter and tranny all the way because it wouldn't let me engine start in its band. Well then I hit 3,200 and my cam turned on (hit its power band where there is no overlap), it was funny pulled on him like he was parked. he went to shift to second and I was gone. It was funny

 

Well there is a guy in my town who owns a business called F and F (after the movie). Well I was returning to a car show after crusing late at night. Everyone of the old cars were gone and I noticed a bunch of imports. As soon as I pull in to drop my friend off at his car I get approached and asked if I am racing tonight. You know me, always love a good stomping. Well I get challenged to race the guy from the F and the F. Well I was like okay but I need fuel. So some friends bring me some racing fuel and we are off to a remote location.

Well we get there and some races go on. Then he challenges me. 50 dollars and go (I was broke) so we agree to race.

The damn kids talk like he was the president saying he ran a 13.8 but has a new engine with a new turbo it is go time, so you better crack your nitrous. I was like f#$^ that I am not cracking my nitrous for some puny car. So he made rules like I couldn't do a burnout and we couldn't only race the 1/8.

Well I think to myself, he didn't say anything about the tranny brake. I help that baby at 3,000 and let her go when the flag man dropped the arms and we were off. I have to admit that I was suprisd that he kept up, he got me on the 60 foot because of the AWD but after the 60 foot it was all me. I was all ready down the road when it was time to come around.

I was like where is my money. Well then he said that he beat me. I was like I didn't know that we were racing 60 feet. So to make sure nobody cheated I had a passanger and a camera at the end. Well the second time I stomped him even worse and then he wanted to go again. Double or nothing. I said stop before your ahead.

Then later on I find out he was telling people I own a 10 second camaro and that he broke his shift fork. I was like then why did you want to race. Well I made sure people new my last time at the track was a 14.7 (not that it is now). Well needless to say another one bites the dust.

 

This story has to do why I don't like street racing...

Okay I am at B Bops talking about various things to people like Wally. Then Wally's buddy Klein comes up in his white S-10. Sounds decent and very nice wheels (my version is at Lints). He asked me to race after Steve proposed it. I am like what the hell... Fast fowarding to race...

Well we pull at and his does this one.. two.. three thing with his finger and starts to go only to relize I was asking if it was on three (nothing was said before hand). Then stops a half length in front (i am like no biggy). So I proceed to ask him on three and I look down to find the tranny brake button and I look up he had already started without me. So I proceed to play 3 length catch up and pull on him and eventually poass him in second. Right as I shift to third he is a car length behind me and brakes. So yeah. But what my girlfriend doesn't no that I lost control of my car while braking for about three seconds and then counter steer and regain control. Oh well chalk another one up for the old RS

 

Started with a 2000 TA Convertible that thought he would toy with me and then had a little conversation...
(over exhaust)
Him: Whats it got in it...
Me: 383

Him: Can it hook?
Me: Lets find out!

Light turns green

me get on it....

Him: Hooks better than mine
Me: Yeah but it fishes (hand signals)

Then he turned off.. Nice guy seemed really cool. Tan with black convertable top. Kudos to you. If your on the board... NICE!

 

Wow I have to admit that was good *** stomping I recieved today. Have to say he pulled a Klein and jumped me, but it wouldn't matter anyway cause he walked me like a dog (usually I start from behind and walk the other person). My car topped out and he kept going, but it wouldn't matter cause I was behind anyway. Good kill. Maybe next time from a stop.... And with the nitro

Brian and I are out at B Bops (we had this planned) and went to the 151 to race. John was suppose to be the scout but I guess something happened. Anyways for the race we were going to do a 30 roll. I don't know I don't have a speedo. To much for first but good enough for second. We start Brian jumps in front both races and pulls away.

So on the way back I ask him if he wants to do it from the stop since we already established his car is faster. He kind hestiated but agreed so we got on it and well it was pretty close other than that I lost traction and still lost for a third time

 

On 7 cylinders..


I remember last week a guy with a 347 coming up to me and asking me to race. I found out it is a 347 and apparently the nitrous is not hooked up. Well I was waiting for some Monte who was being evil and saw the mustang. I pulled out behind it. He was toying with me hitting the throttle with his manual. Well with a manual it jumps right away and with me it just revs cause of my high stall non lock up converter. He asked if I wanted to run after I see him laugh and scoff at how slow my car was (little does he know). First run I got two cars lengths off the launch and shut her down mid second cause he wasn't catching up. (learned from the cops once). He said we need to race a 1/4 so we down a little further and well hit another red. Nice straight away. I jump on him again only I let off cause I figured buster brown stopped racing well he comes up so I stomp it again and shift to third for the pass of a car length. Then I let off, but hey it was fun when someone makes fun of your car and gets beat

 

The SC that runs 14.3's got a three-4 car head start. Then I went, then I won. Then I beat a 600 motorcycle that runs 10.78's. I inhilated him the first time, the second time broke lose and got beat by two cars lengths

Well I was at B Bops waiting dfor the stupid ricers. Hanging out with Wally and stuff. Well a certain person on here, AllgoJoe, and his friends were bull****ting...

First off I get challenged to race with Allgo... No can do I already got beat by Brian. Race some poor student for money, yeah that's cool! Well then I get challenged to race a mustang that runs a "13.8" He was as hesistant as I was so I figured what the hey.

First run:

I want to go on three. I go one.. two... three... and start but I notice he didn't jump right away so I let him go ahead and then romp on it. I started at his front fender well I beat him by a car. No biggie.

Second run:

We decide to go from the green light. Well at green at tranny brake and jump off to a lead and kept pulling 2 cars all the way to third. I shifted to third and shut down. I stop to help what I think is a downed car, but get back and get accused of cheating. Sorry you guys those of you who know me, know I don't lie about that sort of thing. Well I got accused of running nitrous. The smell of my oil guzzler smelled like sulfur and well to make a long damn story short I had to wait for a wrench to disconnect my nitrous line.

Third race:

Beat even worse than the second time with no nitrous ine or wiring hooked up.

my friend has a super coupe, my iroc with a blown PV and too big of a cam can stay side by side with it but i dont see a 305 beating it..
those 3.8 supercharged are beasts i think. hes one of my best friends so i've got to ride in it alot... there isnt much around here that can even hang with him

I was at the CR street races. I got called out with the gutted monte with a 454. I said bring it on. The first race I inhilated him but he wanted a rematch and I broke traction and lost but then
fixed the bia ply problem.

I show up to the street races and I notice that there is a news crew there and thing to myself OMG what has this turned into. But I was doing a segment and found out that a guy was trying to drum up business and invited them. I am most definately one to show off but I am one who wants immunity. So I invited the reporter to ride with me, she was scared crapless and declined. But I got the camera man to come with me. So the race begins.

I give a manual 1997? Cobra a 3 car head start. Then we go. I go down and anhilate him and we are at the turn around spot and what do we see a couple of cops heading to the main people to get them. Unfornately I have the camera man so I have to drive back with the camera man. I bet that cop was pissed cuz he jumped out and started taking a bazillion photos. Then I waited for the guy who got pulled over and bsed with him it was a very interesting night and then like a month later my car was in the newspaper for the second time in its life under the subtitle the fast and the curious.

We won't know this year. I am changing from a NA carbed engine over to a fuel injected turboed monster of a small block. Last year she ran a 12.22 at 112.24 with me dirivng up with a bad piston ring and the timing being retarded 2.3 degrees intial (faulty nitorus wire). Then I did a power steering delete and a electric water pump and only lost to a 10.82 mustang by like two car lengths if that. Wally and I inspected the old engine and it was a six cylinder. I am reringing it and rebearing her. Then I am trying to sell the old small block for cheap to help pay just for the block of my new one.

 

Not bad, running right with my dad (he went 12.3) and I have driven his car on the street (its a street car, duh, hahah) and it definately is fun compared to most other cars. Now if he raced a 10 second car he would get destroyed but either way! Nice kills!

 

I am get off work and head down this nice warm sunny day to B Bops to attend yet another car show. I get downtown on our main strip and end up finding myself next to a bright red 1973 formula. He looks over at me and smirks like I ain't nothing at all. We stop at a light behind to vehicles. He takes off from the light and almost rearends a van. I am thinking its on now. So we go down and finally catch a light at the stop light. I was gunning it whether he was or not just to leave him in my dust. So it turns green he guns it too I end up anhilating his *** and pulling way out in front in second and getting thumbs up from all the people behind us for a cool show. Chalk another kill.

 

Nice stories man. I can't wait till this ****ty weather goes away.

I used to have the same engine except with a 350 cam, self ported heads and headers. It consistently ran mid 16s at CF dragway.....

who the hell says 16s is fast??????!!!!

 

Hey Mdricken you were actually there for a that one race with the mustang remember that one night when I was being challenged and saying I was lying and all that good stuff. First time at the track I ran a 16.2 at 99.98 with a 2.7 60 foot then a 14.8 at 99.98 hopefully this year I can run a little better. Last year I hit 12.22.

 

wow it's been 6 years since my car ran. Spring can't come soon enough...
