well since i raced that 1988 gt 5.0 i've done alot more to my engine.i added a cam & lifters,intake,throttle body,custom chip and a 3.42 posi.the car is running really good alot better than what i expected but anyway i pulled up next to a iroc last night.he gave me the look that he wanted to go so we both took off when the light turned green.the race wasn't even close i beat him bad from start to finish.i waited for him at the next red light about 2 blocks away and asked him if he wanted to try again and he said no way.he thought i had a 350.i told him it was a 305 tbi he didn't believe me until i popped my hood for him.his 350 was stock except for headers.

are u sure it was a stock 350 TPI 1986???????? He must of added that inside his Iroc if it was a 86 because 1987 was when the 350 was introduced in the F body (TPI)... Well ppl claim they had some 86 350s out there but i think its ..... But good kill

 

a friend told me that same thing eariler today.he said he heard that the irocs in 86 didn't have 350 tpi so i did some looking around and found a site that says that 86 iroc did have a 350 tpi but only 50 were made for testing and they decided not to put a 350 in that year so he must of had a 305.he lied to me or he might of thought it was a 350 i don't know.the engine he had was definately tpi though

yea it's still a sweet kill..i see mustangs driving around with cobra emblems on them and they aren't cobras.there are probably alot of people in chevy's that do the same thing also i don't know why people do that stuff.
