another LS1 Trans Am goes down

Went up to Houston the other night. Pulled up next to a black '01 (approx.) with open Borla exhaust and Nitto's on the back. Couldn't really tell if he had anything else or hear if he did, my cut-out was open. Light turns green and we drive off the line up to about 30, I shift back into 1st and he hear's the rpm's come up so he jumps, I pull back up beside him and tell him to go. He jumps and I nail the gas. He pulls about a length out ahead of me before my car catches up, then I easily pull past him and put about a length on him before we shut it down at about 65. We race twice more with the same result, me easily pulling past him. I was hoping to race a silver '03 Cobra that I was beside for a little while, but the traffic never cleared out.

I'll hold off till I get the twin-turbo Porsche's. Viper's are fun too

Surprisingly well, 'cause I beat the ever loving HELL out of it. I'm surprised the Dual Friction has even lasted this long.

Pasky, go for the Vette. Might take you, but it should be a good close race. I've still been trying to get my hands on one.

freestylzz - all in due time my man. I've got big plans in the works. Viper what?

T what? Pasky what? "I don't got it?". Refering to me?

Anyways, ya'll rookie's keep dreaming. The T5 is great if you know how to "soup' it up. Something you kids know know thing about. The LT1 is not invincible, nor one that is modded. I've chewed off enough of you kind and your not as weet as you might think. "Texas", respect to you my man. I see your mods. But even those who are invinsible feel the rath of defeat. You are strong, but not that strong. I'm tired of standing in the shadows. Talk is talk.

I know about ya'll...if that's what you got? Ever looked a real bull straight in the eyes? You ain't got SH*T! LT1 ( I know your weakness)...LOL. Anyways...Goodnight.

lol, preach on brotha! I'd definitely like to hear about the T-5 mods as well. Anyway, I know the LT1 is not "invincible" nothing is for that matter. I just like to have a little fun with what I've got and pick my races carefully until I have the resources to build up something just a tad more powerful. But my future plans will be damn near invincible on the street Can you say big cubes with a little 'ole hair dryer attached? :lala: :lala: :lala:

Think I hit a nerve . Btw, I don't have a T-5 .

Any hoo, been talking to that TexasLT4, Get this, his name is 'Trevor' hahaha, too funny . He wants me to head up to SA and help him with his swap, might be able to do just that, plus it'd be a ample oppurtunity to test out the long distance durability of my swap. Just waiting on the car man .

Man I wish my car was done Texas, i'd have love to head up there and get to roll with ya and shoot some **** and possibly brain storm with you, unfortunately my shop is short a painter, he walked out a week and a half ago and I finally got word of it. I gave him ti'll this weekend to find another before I go find another place.

Good luck to you man and make those last days of leave count!

The look of a defeated LS1 driver by an lowly RS = Priceless. I know I love to run into LS1 cars win, lose, or draw, they always want to know what the f@$% just happened. Nice run.

I think we can all agree in this thread it's great to take down a new 4th gen LS1 car with a Camaro RS, If i had to count the number of times that people assume it's a V6 and want to race.......

Not to worry man, now that I'm back at school I'm going to get back to work on it. Haven't been able to work on it in a long time with the school year rounding out and then summer (year right, work over summer?! ) but I'll be getting back to work on it now. Won't be able to get all that much done on it between now and the start of the school year because of my summer programs, but I'll see what I can do.
