Yep it was a twin turbo stealth all stock as far as I can see. It was funny that this happened because I was just reading the post about stealths on this board before leaving for work. Heres what happened.

I pull up to a light on my way to work. It is a three lane highway leading to a toll road. I take the exit about a half mile up the road before the toll road starts. Well I am in front waiting and see two stealths pull up behind me and both are same red color and side by side. I am like huh thats weird because I was just reading about them. He didn't pull up next to me so I pull out part throttle to see if he goes with me.

He doesnt until he clears the car in the inside lane (I am in the middle) and starts to gun it about car and half behind me. I drop it to 2nd gear (700r4) and proceed to go. HE NEVER gained that car and half lead. I hit alittle over 4500 it second and throw it in Drive but tranny held second till 5500 rpm where I let off. When I let off, it shifted and rpms fell to 3000 or so where he then passed me. But I needed to stop to take my exit. I was like man that stealth was quick and didnt realize what it was untill it passed me and I saw Stealth TT on his bumper and heard alittle bit of turbo as he let off as we both exited. It was my first run in on a stealth of any kind and I held my ground. He only passed because I let off after hitting 5500 rpm in 2nd, well past my power band for TPI. I gave a smile and thumbs up and he wasn't real happy. Middle age guy probably in 30's and he just got beat by a 19 year old in a 15 year old Iroc-z. Wow, it was sweeet.

Well I guess thats middle aged. He was late 30's.

Update. I came away from this one limping. Later that night coming home my tranny struggled to get into 3rd gear and lost 4th. Today 4th and 3rd are gone. Sucks oh well but worth it. I was going to get the tranny rebuilt next week but has to get done now. I have the money sitting here. Just waiting for my Edge converter to come in. Man street racing is love hate relationship.

 

GREAT JOB on the kill!! sux about the tranny!! get a good one to replace it.

one question though, if he is old in his mid 30s, should i go shopping at the cemetary, since i'm in my mid 40s?

excuse me, can you get a coffin with a gas peddle at at the bottom? and how much extra for the free flo embalming needles?
