Hey any of you guys have a race and not realize it till about 2 weeks later.

So yeah I was sitting at a stop light and A guy from the church I go to uhhh Tim I think (He's an import parts retailer and he has a little yellow car thats supposed to be pretty fast) was sitting behind me so I revved up my engine just to mess with him anyway then the light changes and I take off pretty fast like I always do yep just going down the road then out of nowhere this hick in his pickup speeds past me at about 90(on a 45 I was doing 60) yep I just get mad and yell at him realized a few days ago he answerd my unoffered challenge Im an idiot

Same thing happened to me last week. Little mazda3 and myself were lined up at a light, and I took off like I always do, a little fast. Well one of my other traits, other than stepping on the gas hard, is to see how far behind me the car next to me is, but this mazda was no where in sight (convertible, so big blindspot on my right side, where he was). On the next light, we both get lined up again, and I take off like I just did, but this time he stayed up, and when he hit second his tires chirped, it was only then that I realized I was racing.

Reminds me of a story with my girlfriend. She went out on a date with another boy-friend, supposedly they were just gonna "catch-up". The next day she told me the things he did.....it just occured to me this story has no real pertence to anyone except me. Good'day

 

Last night.


I was out with a girl i know. First time she has seen my new '03 GT. We went out to a fancy dinner and we were on our way back to my place so i could, um, show her my new drapes. Anyway i was getting on it through 2nd gear a bit trying to merge over.

So She says "So you gonna show me what this car can do or what??" I had a big grin ear to ear when i heard that. Just then the light goes red in front of me and nobody is around.

Right before the light goes green, a car pulls next to me. At the time i didn't pay attention, but afterwards i noticed it was a Infinity G35 4-door with two younger guys in it.

Light goes green and i nail it through 1st, grab rubber into 2nd and get a hard chirp into 3rd gear. I granny shift into 4th at around 100MPH and start coasting down. The girl is breathing hard and saying "Wow, i need to get me one of these". I look in the rearview mirrow and see the G35 ran with me but i never noticed. He was WAY back but it was obviously he tried to run. I slowed back to 55MPH and the teo guys did a flyby at about 80-90MPH. Thinking back on it, i think i pulled hard on them as soon as i hit 2nd gear, but i was too busy focusing on what i was doing.

Then i went home and played Martha Stewart

Don't you hate that when you don't realize that you are racing. What if a cop were to pull you over...what would you say "well officer, I was just driving like I always do. Didn't realize I was racing until Mazda speed over there Chirped going into second...can I get half off on my ticket for not knowing whats going on?"...hehe

I think that would be freakin funny.
