the other day i was going through town and pull up to a stop light beside this littel black s-10

its an older guy and hes not even paying attiention and when the green arrow goes out i give it a little rev to abotu launch rpm's and take off about as good as i can when it goes green

well i pull abotu a car length on him immediatly then once he relizes i wanted to race he steps on it and proceedes to tear me a new one

i guess thats what i get for trying to mess with a SYCLONE with my little stock 305

it was fun seeing that thing take off though

Guy here in town has a syclone, was a 93 S10 Syclone, dynoed it while I was there and put down about 430 rwhp. He said he had about $10k into the engine alone, two blowers. Nice little truck.

I was amazed to find a TPI throttle body as original equipment on those syclone/typhoon 4.3L turbo trucks.. I asked a customer if I could look/drool under his hood, and I was quite tickled to see that.

No clue, was a dyno jet and thats what printed out. Not sure how a dyno works with AWD.

Either run on an AWD dyno with front and rear rollers

or

Take out the front driveshaft and run RWD only.

Gotta love S-10s

I hear ya. ALL of the syclones/typhoons were a 4.3l SFI turbo motor. Very nice trucks. I had one once BUT it had no drivetrain. I was thinking of the AWD V-8 swap but the body was just too gone. Missing various cladding, badges, and sheet metal. I had to let it go. I loved that thing. It had the original leather seats in it too but they were torn up. I used to sit in it and wonder what the thing would have looked like new!!

No such thing as a 1993 syclone. Only turbo 4.3 in 93 was the typhoon. the last year of the syclone was 1992.
