on the highway with a WS6

hey guys got passed by a 2000 something ws6 this morning on the way to work, he got in front of me and nailed it, i then downshifted to 4th and pulled it up to 5500 rpms, then shifted to 5th and kept the pedal down and i was right with him, how does this car compare to mine? mods in sig

Well, I'd be a little surprised to see any 305 keep up with even a stock LS1.

Anywhere from very high 12's to mid 13's depending on the driver and weather. If ya hung with him, hat's off to you as you have a quick little motor there

Not bad for your first time out with it. I can only imagine it was pretty hot also Were you spinning alot? The 60 seems kinda high even for the weather. I was cutting 1.9/2.0's with a stock verter. Get that 60 down and your 1/4 will drop with it

or you can always get a verter.......

Have you ever raced someone u know is slower than you so you only give it half throttle while he's flooring it trying his hardest to keep up?


Well the LS1 was that guy, and ur the guy flooring it.

yeah dude ls1's pull like crazy up top so he was either toying with you or your 305 is makeing alot more horse power than it should be right now.
