89 Camaro, 270 HP 295 Torque, 3.42 rear, T5, excellent driver.

or

89 Camaro, 250 HP 330 Torque, 2.73 rear, 700R4, good driver.

 

money would be on the 270 hp and 295ft.lbs t5

 

from a dig the 89 dont have to really know how to drive and torque will get him out of the whole faster even with the lower gear unless you have sticky tires and a wc t5 where you can launch it at hi rpm then id say the 89 if its froma roll then the t5

the 270hp 295lb tq is a carb'd 305, WC T5 and drag radials. The other is a 350 TPI.

 

I'll take the guy with the better gears. I think they will more than make up for the torque

 

i agree better gears would win it

 

If the T5 holds, and the guy knows how to use a stick properly, I'm going with the 5 speed car.
