How much power/1/4 mile times?

Im looking into buying this car and I was just wondering what I could expect out of this engine? Its got a 700R4 with a 2000 RPM converter and a shift kit. Not sure of the rear end gears.

'87 L98 steel crank shaft; pink rods; flat top pistons rotating assembly has been balanced; fluidampr harmonic damper; 1.94 intake and 1.50 exhaust; stainless steel valves; screw in studs; guide plates; 1.5 roller rockerarms; 24 lb. fuel injectors; rebuilt distributor; hypertech computer chip

Hard to tell, if its basically stock heads with screw in studs, stock cam and a hypertech chip, it could be mid 14's or worse. Without cam specs or HP improving mods to the heads, its a blind guessing game, like playing pin the tail on the donkey. Off the shelf chips suck too, the only way to go is a custom burnt chip.

i have run 14.02 with full exhaust/header, CAI, and 2800 stall on 2.77 gears and worn out street tires. i should have high 13.9's on it as it sits now, and with 3.27's and new tires, i should hit 13.8's i am hoping for. i feel that the car has it in it.

2000rpm converter isnt going to help as much over stock. get atleast a 2400rpm-2800rpm converter. it will open that car up LOL

i don't see why you would go through the heads like that and not up grade the cam. Basically the only thing there givining you a horsepower gain is the roller rockers (and maybe the chip, but it could also be hurting the performance). But there is one good thing to be said about it, it's an awfully good starting point.

There is nothing there greater than stock. A rebuilt ditributor doesnt add power, its still got stock sized valves, no porting. Screw in studs dont do anything. Hypertech chip is next to worthless. The roller rockers may help, because the stock ones suck so bad. With a stock cam, its not going to do much more than a stock car would.
