Dark side wins again!

Ok, I was heading home from work today on Poplar Lvl Rd, pretty straight line road that is 2 lanes wide and then goes 3 lanes wide at Old shep. Anyways, Im cruising and I look in my rearview mirror and theres this black w/gold understriping 88 or so IROC, louvered hood and all, T-tops. He's coming hard on my *** and I continue cruising. Hes get over into the right lane and Im in the middle lane. We hit the light and it just turned red. Ive got my windows down because of how nice out it is. Im sitting there and the Camaro guy has his window down. Im looking over discreetly, checking out his car, which is pretty nice. He looks over at me and frowns at my car, then speaks...

"Whatcha lookin at there buddy?"

"Oh, Im just checking out your car man. Nice ThirdGen, what you running under the hood?"

"Whats it matter to you, you couldnt keep up in that slow *** Ford anyways."

"Oh really? I dont think it could be THAT hard to do so."

"Son, you have no idea what you're up against...why dont you buy you a REAL car?"

"Actually I know what Im up against, Ive had a few Camaros and I know what they can do. You gonna prove how fast you are or not?"

"Sure but dont be surprised when that Rustang loses pal."

So, I prep up and stuff and I look to my left as I heard someone trying to get my attention. Its 2 very cute girls in a green Focus SVT. The passenger asks if Im going to run that Camaro and I said yeah. They tell me good luck and giggle and uch lol. I throw it in first, rev to about 4k or so. Light goes green, I dump the clutch and eat tires like mad, let out off the gas for a second and punch it again and it grabs traction and shoots out. We're pretty much dead even, I slam into 2nd, stay even but whenever I hit 4000 or so I start inching pulling away on him. I slam into 3rd gear and start pulling alot....get about 4 cars or so on him and let out. We get to the next light and the Camaro pulls up.

"Damn, what happened man? I thought this was a SLow POS Ford. Looks like you may have been wrong man. anyways, nice car, keep it looking sharp."

Of course, he rolled his windows up and didnt say ****. The Focus pulls up beside me again and the girl in the passenger seat wanted to know what I had under the hood, i said 5.0 They congratulated me and such and we all went on our ways....Good times.

Sorry, I had to kill that cocky ThirdGen driver he was asking for it. his ignorance towards the 5.0 was pure funny.

 You always crack me up Stu. It was an auto so no idea, either 305 or 350...Im thinking 305TPI cause of the T-tops more of them made with them than the L98's.

And it's such a mystery why thirdgens get such a bad wrap. This is the one time I'm glad a thirdgen lost. Way to put him in his place man.

I don't understand you mustang guys, you got your OWN board that has a lot more members than we do and you STILL bring your BS to the board. I can handle stu, he is about the only non - attention seeking outsider I can think of....

A.) Go to your own board

B.) That has to be the longest red light I have heard of

C.) Why bother posting if your running your self proclaimed "rustang"

Go bother your own board.

Ya bro, cut the BS. I have a 'maro and a 'stang. I was on these boards when I got my Camaro, and joined Mustang boards when I got the Fox.
Chill back because you don't own the boards (technically, I guess Dirk does)
And you can't regulate who visits them.
Anyone who likes Thirdgens, and wants to learn more should be here, regardless of what type of car/truck/bike they own.
It's a site for thirdgen Camaro's and Firebirds. Great. Lots of people have multiple cars. Get over it /\/3\/\/l8l3.

I have been here a lot longer and have added more useful knowledge when needed than you. I guess I deserve to be here more! Again your on probation starting a fight probably isnt the worlds smartest thing to do!

As for the kill its thirdgen related, and the rules didnt state the thirdgen had to be owned by the poster or had to win the race!

Mustang drivers add nothing to the board, oddly enough you guys ONLY cruise the Theoretical and Street Racing forum...maybe because you don't know anything about 3rdgens? Seriously, I'm tired of seeing RX-7's Mustang 5.0's owners on the site, there is no reason to be on THIRDGEN.ORG if you don't own a thirdgen. You guys sit on the computer, talk crap and say that "mustangs >camaros or RlCE > Camaro"

Like I said stu is the only one that gives honest opinions on who would win, as compared with morons like you guys.

For real, get off our board.

How about YOU get off our board. I have been here a LOT longer than you, have helped a bunch of people, and actually know a lot about Thirdgens. The reason I post in this section is to post up on my knowledge of other cars. I know more about Mustangs than Im sure 80-90% of this board, and ad my opinion when its valid. This is a public forum, Im just as welcome as you, and by the fact you have been on probation and Im sure are very close to being banned, Im MORE wanted here than you, by the powers that be!

I have never had an issue with a moderator, and rarely have issues with thirdgen owners on the site, as most know I post my opinion (and how can you argue an opinion) or facts, mainly about MUstangs to help those out who need help!

So nice try on being an internet badass, and to start a revolt to get the Mustang guys off the site, were not going anywhere, and will continue to post our opinions and facts in the PUBLIC open to anyone forum!

Now back on topic, nice kill for I believe the third time. It is good to see GM vs Ford have a nice rivalry and no bad blood after! Brand loyalty is a nasty thing.

Mustang owners have every right to give their own objective opinions on who would win as much as anyone else. They contribute as much as anyone else.

If the mustang owners were doing as a certain Monkie was doing several years ago and posting nothing more than 'My Cobra can beat any of your cars it runs 8s and it's stock except for a pulley! Thirdgens more like turdgens~!!' then it would be another story. Problem users are banned, contributing members are not. I haven't seen most of these guys do anything to warrant any sort of reprimand much less having to ban them. Not yet anyway...
