monte vs 87 trans

Who would win a 86 monte carlo ss with a shift kit, and a exhuast, or my 87 trans am with a hurs short throw, flowmaster exhaust, edlebrock manifold, and a oversized cam, its a 4 bbl.

Is the monte an LG4 or an L69? Is the TA an LG4, LB9, or L98. Stick or auto? What gears? Just beacause the TA is a carb dosent mean anything. What motor is in it? Your question is a little too vague.

All monte SS's had L69. They also had 3.73's starting in 85.

I don't think any of them are wearing an SS badge.

Browse some of the Monte sites. An SS could be had with an LG4 or an L69 just like a Trans Am or Camaro could.

I haven't seen any evidence of an LG4 equipped monte carlo SS. It was a performance option on monte carlo LS's, and you could not get an L69 in an LS.

the SS monte's only had the l69! if you saw a monte SS with a lg4 it was a SS clone.

the ta (seen lots of these races) don't know why but, the lg4 ta seems to always win. they are close off the line though

Re: monte vs 87 trans

Might be a jerk question, but why are you racing with an LG4? Would be really interesting to see one of those built to s*** though.
