I Need Tgo Support To End Street Racing
ok i first i have to apologize for my behavior i have really let stress get the better of me.
*please read carefully*
I had this idea like a year ago but i didnt know how to get it off the ground until this morning when i was helping out in the kindergarten class i teach sometimes. My idea is to get my idiot friends off the street. We have an airstrip 2 miles outside of town that we can use for a 1/8 we will do it like we do in the country but in a controlled environment with medics and firefighters.
My only problem is to convince the community to back me up because here the people suck (they turned down a bill to help out our schools but passed one to sell alcohol on sundays..go figure) then i remembered that everybody on the city council owns classic cars and i know some of them including our mayor and the 2 richest guys in town if i can get their support i got this in the bag but if cant do that i can atleast organize a cruise night cuz i know dozens of old guys that would back me at least that would get me in the right track......
so this is where you guys come in everybody start posting some damn good reasons to get "theoretical racing" off the streets and start a decent car show in town cuz we have one yearly but they stick us on a grass lot in the corner of town....i am aiming on having it by the lake then cruise to the airstrip for some heads up 1/8 action and have a bbq and all that stuff too
if this works i will video tape and take pics to post on Tgo so please support this

After reading all of your previous posts (well most of them in this forum) you are a troll. None of your facts are the same from thread to thread and you are pretty much a moron.
Stop posting here, you're using bandwidth.
Idiot.

I think it is a good reason so these crazy people in the country quit racing down the roads and using my mailbox as the 1/4 mile marker!

You all do know that street racing is illegal and pretty much everybody on this board is breaking the law?
Hope the police uses all of this as incrimanating evedince to bust all fo you for putting people lives at risk.

As far as what your saying, didnt three posts ago you were the one who follows the tradition of street racing against others on roads with mailboxes and signs marking the race track off, and started jumping on the moderator when he disagreed with you??? Also id I reemmber you have one of the fastest cars in town, why would you need a track, if a 15 or 14 second car owns the road???
Believe me I live in a state with no track, and no track in the state next to me, but there will never be a track here. We have one of the biggest street racing scenes in the north east, and LOTS of accidents and deaths yet they have NO desire to add a track. They see no reason and will continue to clean dead bodies off the ground before they ever add one. They would rather crack down and impound cars for street racing, then give kids a place to do it legally! Get used to it!

In all honesty in some of the states that do not have tracks I think if done "RIGHT" there could be a good potential money maker!
We have IRP 15min from me so no hope of doing that here. LOL

I back up the idea to be able to go to the track and race anyone you want to instead of solving it on the street. Cause my track we just get in lines, cant really chose

i followed that tradition like 3 times and everytime i thought i was gonna plow into a raccon in the middle of the road like i said i am sorry for my crappy attitude as of late...........i had this idea long before i knew TGO even existed and i might own all my friends cars on the street but i would rather get beat badly by a chevelle on a track

I don't see any racing in this thread. Go to one of the many boards with general chat or maybe a regional board to discuss setting up carshows and things like that.
