integra beat me>!

Well went to a set up race in good ol' valpo....of course after being an *** to the r!cers hanging out at the car wash. Had a sickly looking r!ce boy aproach me and ask me if i wanted to run them...so i did. He gave me the usuall false info on what he had under the hood, and we raced....it was about even till the end when he took the lead and won... Turns out he was running a brand new, built up.....super r!ce engine....i don't know foreign motors..... made me feel good to know i at least kept with him.

i don't see whats so hard about being honest.....at least tell me you dump $30,000 into your cool colourful engine before the race......at least i then won't feel bad, like i just lost to a 1.3 or something.

You can park 'em anywhere. Eat pizza and paste the seats with tomato sauce (and not give a r*ts a**). Get your groceries. Wash it once a year. Never change the oil. Use cheap gas. Drive over curbs, drive into curbs.............

what he does not tell you is that i stood up for us third gen drivers and beat the focus that was with the integra. not bad for a 3.1, especially since the guy refused to tell me what he had done to the car.

Try to find out more info on his car. You should have had him off the line with the TPI's torque curve. Did you spin the tires during your launch? If you have some money, buy a nitrous kit and setup another race. Tell him if he wins, you'll peel off your "**** on" decal. If you win, have him put an Import "**** on" decal on his car.

What **** burners don't know, is that if you were to take the same amount of money that they put into their car, into yours, they wouldn't have a chance.

The example I always use is with the 2002 Camaro SS, or ANY car with an LS-1 for that matter. If you take that car, say about $12k now, add a BANKS twin turbo, about another $8k-$10k, you will have a little over a 1k RWHP. $22k, including the car, and there isn't a **** burner that can touch you.

That $10k for the BANKS twin turbo incldues a cam, etc needed to get all the horses and torque out.

But most burners dont spend more than 5-7K on there cars tho. i agree with you tho. if i hade an extra 5-7K for me i would kill yo

Theres more to it than just bolting on a twin turbo kit. You need a drivetrain that can handle it. Also, 1000rwhp without traction is useless, so figure another $2k in suspension work.

What do you know about what can make what power? Name ONE person with an import that's put 12k into performance parts into their car and runs anything higher than 10's. That's right, I'm calling you out.

I tend to disagree with your statement as there are too many varaiables. Poor tune or poor combination of parts can cause for a car with lots of performance goodies to not make the power it should be. Tuning and correct choice of parts is key to any budget racer.

I totally agree, but I'm sure that he doesn't have the foggiest idea what he's talking about, so I thought I'd take the chance. All the tards tend to crawl out of the wood work in threads like these.

1) If you don't know/care, then how is it relevant to this conversation?

2) That is why they are ricers, not because of what they drive.

Obviously, I didn’t realized you wanted a list of parts, I was figuring that you knew that you had to reinforce the engine, upgrade the suspension, etc etc...

Your probably the kind of guy who thinks he is tough on the internet.

There are people who put thousands of dollars into their r!cer everyday. I didn't know that you were take me so literally as to quote my prices too. I was simply giving an example.

Its stupid to judge a person by how they seem online, you have no idea what I know, what I've done, and what I plan on doing.

And don't call people out on the internet, you can put on a fake face and everyone thinks your the ****.

I wasn't calling you out in a physica, e-bully type way silly pants. I just want you to justify what you said so people don't think you are just another import hanting clown. I didn't think it was too much to ask.

I don't need to prove myself to anyone, but if you want me to clear up, or explain part of what I said, I can do that, just name what.

hey why dont we all just calm down and shut the **** up. stu is cool he knows more than most and even tho he drives **** he can beat 1/3rd of u with his old car. case closed

now back to the ss 10,000 is alot thats more than half of the cars original price. then as said u need suspension and tires cage etc. if you have more than 1000whp you had better set that car up with alot of safety items or your asking for trouble.

I totally agree, but I'm sure that he doesn't have the foggiest idea what he's talking about, so I thought I'd take the chance. All the tards tend to crawl out of the wood work in threads like these.
Now don't go off because I dont post on the racing boards much, but how do you get off coming to our site and assume peope are idiots just because of prior idiots???Maybe you should have went about that a different way..
and like my mom always tells me..don't assume...because it makes an *** out of U and ME...

let me guess though budget went something like this

1000 for bling bling rims
2000 for body kit
500 for big wing
500 for lighting effects
1500 for interior work
and then the rest for the motor

I only come off as arogant because so far no one seems to know what they are talking about. All I keep hearing is if any person with an import runs lower than 15's, well then they must have spent $6,500 to get there.
