Got my *** handed to me today. Mustang pulls up behind me. Looks stock as a bone.. barely has a bump to the exhaust. So I take off like a madman and he blows by me... the whine from his supercharger is still ringing in my head..

Last year at the track, there was a guy pushing a LX through the lanes. The car looked bone stock down to those ugly factory aluminum wheels with all the holes and a luggage rack on the trunk. It's an AOD car as well. So everyone is laughing watching the guy struggle to push it all the way up to the line. Well as luck would have it, I end up being the lucky guy to run him. He jumps in and fires it up and it still sounds stock. So I'm thinking it's going to be an easy kill. Lights come down and there isn't even a hint of spin from the factory radials, the LX rockets off the line and pulls hard down the track to a mid 12. I was like !!! More proof that you never know what to expect when you're racing!

Yeah, I talked to him tonight. I was getting gas and he pulled in. Very nice guy (for a mustang owner )

Turns out he was running a blown 347 stroker with afr heads, comp cam (dunno specs, huge *** lift #) and a trickflow intake tucked under an s trim supercharger. He said his best 1/4 was 10.89
