Dang bro, nice time. Hopefully i'll see high 13's this summer. That stall really makes your car a BEAST off the line. what did the stang run?

what sucks is i am only trapping 92.6 mph. i used to be up in the 96's. but oh well, i think it might be an exhaust leak, although some say other wise. and thats my best run so far on the new gears. i used to run 13.8's with 2.77s

my 60 foot on that run was 1.88 on street tires with 25psi. adjustable shocks, set somewhat stiff on the rear, and super light up front. the car really throws up the front end and plants the power

the stang 60 foot was 2.34

and he ran a 15.137 at 92.72mph, which is faster trap than me. LOL

somthing is deff wrong then if your trap speed is that. You should do better then 92 mph with a stock l98!

Congrts on the win but it isnt that hard to beat an NPI 4.6L stang. As for a 99-04 4.6L, stock they run low low 14's and doesnt take much to put them deep into the 13's. Mod motors have a funky powerband, they dont have alot of low end but like to scream up top. they are pretty fun to drive indeed.

Honestly, ive had more close races with 5.0's then the new 4.6's and some 05 gts (yes they won, but not by as much as you would think)

the old 5.0's are beasts. probly easier to get them faster than the newer 4.6's seen more fast 5.0's than 4.6's

Stock 5.0s are in the mid 14's, stock 4.6s are in the low 14s/high 13s, but with the same mods, the 5.0 will run just as fast, if not faster becasue of the power/wieght ratio. Plus they are alot cheaper and the owners put alot of money into them, usually.
