Im pretty sure ive got this one in the bag, but im curious.
Bolt on L98 vs 97 Grand Am 3.1 Auto, 2 big mufflers, gutter cat, filter in place of factory box. Any Idea on what these cars run?

On my way home from frisbee I took one with the exact mods you listed and I don't even have the L98. I've got a 350 tbi with a tpi intake on it(thanks gm performance parts!!

Sorry to ressurect a dead thread but....yeah, a week ago I HAD pretty much the car that was mentioned. Grand Am 3.1 modded a bit. Had it for a few years. Certaintly ain't touching ANYTHING with a V8. In that car, however, I did beat a few V6 F-Bodies. In fact, that car died and I just got a 2.8 Firebird.....the Grand Am was defiantly faster....but not by much.

my friends grand am se 2.4 ran a 15.98 bone stock with an auto that compared to my sunfire with 40k more(106k) on the clock that got a 15.90 with a bad launch
