On my way home from frisbee I took one with the exact mods you listed and I don't even have the L98. I've got a 350 tbi with a tpi intake on it(thanks gm performance parts!! ). I walked him sooo bad. You've got this one hands down!!

I don't think you needed to ask. No competition.

Sorry to ressurect a dead thread but....yeah, a week ago I HAD pretty much the car that was mentioned. Grand Am 3.1 modded a bit. Had it for a few years. Certaintly ain't touching ANYTHING with a V8. In that car, however, I did beat a few V6 F-Bodies. In fact, that car died and I just got a 2.8 Firebird.....the Grand Am was defiantly faster....but not by much.

You'll rape it.

I'm not too sure they run high 15s. I beat one in my L03 which also ran 15.7s, and it wasn't THAT close. If this was a Quad-4 5-speed Grand Am, it might have a chance, as one of those destroyed my RS, but I'd say the 3.1 auto will be a massacre.
