squeezed an '03 cobra today!
caught an '03 cobra at a vacant light today and being the real sport that he was, he looked over at me for a couple secs. and said "what the f*ck, lets go bowtie". We both got a fairly decent launch and he was with me upon til about 45mph and then its like he hit the brakes with both feet, it was funny as hell lol!. I pulled off into an auto-zone and he came in behind me...we compared specs on both cars and all that good stuff. He was still using the factory eaton blower with like a 2" pulley on it lol! I was making more RWHP along with being at least 300-400 lighter than he was too. When he was about to leave, he said to me that he has buddies with fox bodies and 05's that talk sh*t about camaros all day long and he would like for me to show them what a well built one can do....very cool FORD guy!
wish I could have seen your setup while I was in Colorado but never had a chance to make it up there before I moved back home. One of these days I'll bring my car out there for a weekend and would definitely like to see your car and any other thirdgens in the area.

my whimpy 11" 2200 stall coverter is not quite giving me the launch i'd like although the boost along with the 3.73's kinda cover it up. For next seaon a 9.5" vigilante 3000 stall will be going in...talk about some sick launches because with 643ft lbs of RWTQ i bet i could get it to stall around 3200-3300...can't wait to see them front wheels pop up on launch!.

Haha, sweet kill. Got any pics of your car? Sounds like a badass setup you have there. At least Mr. Cobra was cool about it, now go waste some of his buddies and tell us about it!

Your car sounds like a monster. 03/04 snakes are no joke with a smaller pulley. Last month I watched a bone stock 04 cobra put down 390hp and 460tq.

too bad they are abit heavier than ur normal GT stang. small 2.8 pulley and full exhaust/tune will make close to 500rwhp on stock blower. its the highest i have seen, 497rwhp. most tho make around 450-475rwhp on that pulley.

I would like a shot at the new z06 vette...if i can catch one before next season because by then i'm sure there will be quite a few turning up at the drags. I want someone that can drive too so that there wont be any excuses.

the last time i ran was with the old setup...P1-sc, 11psi, no water/meth inject. and 447 RWHP and got 11.6 @ 5280ft elevation. With the current set up a good launch and i should see mid to high 10's i think.
your car sounds just plain nasty man, do you have a website or any pictures or anything? Thats a sweet story about the cobra, you need to get some video of your car. What do you have for a rearend in there? I was going to say if its stock, with a set of slicks and a hard launch I think you could say bye bye to it. I saw an 03 cobra with just an intake and catback do right around 400 at the wheels, thats impressive. Throw a few more things on there and a pulley and they are definately fast.

Very nice car. That sounds like the path I am going to follow next year. For now I am going to be running a 500 FWHP N/A forged 383 with a T-56 and a 12 bolt and 4.10s.
I allready copied your sig and have it taped to my wall. I want to copy it exactly, hehe. Now the only question I have is how often do you drive it on the street? And what kinda gas milage do you get? I really don't care too much, but am just curiouse cuz I know those blowers can give good milage when not spooled and all that nice stuff. Please fill me in. You are going to be my future idol next year, lol. Any details about anything will be great. Thanks a ton.

thanks dennis, compliments like that means a lot me knowing all the effort, time and money I put in my car to get it as it is now. As for gas milage, i've been averaging 20-22mpg down the highway in the 4th gear lock-up mode and around 16-17 in town without my foot in it. I can tell you without any ifs nor buts, if you duplicate my setup there's no looking back and if done right you'll probably make more power than i do if you're at sea level. One thing i did to the stealth ram that really helped was to swap the stock 58mm throttle body for 70mm one and that gave it another set of lungs instantly! I am more than willing to help you with any info you need man, just ask.

Wow, That is great gas milage. Just plain insane. I should be aorund there with my T-56. It has a tiny .50 6th gear. I would def have to beef it up to do hard launches. I have the same 12 bolt as you just slightly steeper gears.
yeah I am at sea level, Boston harbor is only 25 minutes from me and the terain is prety flat around here.
I will most def add you to my buddy list so I do not forget your screen name.
I go to school and every other semester I have a chance to make around 10 grand, maybe a bit more.
If you had to toss up a W-I-D-E ballpark figure (I know it is hard to predict) what would you say your top end cost, including the blower and EFI. I will be able to make $ off the stuff I have now, so it will not hurt as much to buy new stuff, but I just wanna see if this is even a possible set up for me with one season of work.
Is there anywhere I can see pics of your car. Do you have a stock hood? and what kind of pipes are you running under there? Thanks for your help, sounds like you are one of the few guys on these boards that has their head on straight.

I got the blower off e-bay(only 6 dyno pulls on it when i got it) with the 3 core race IC, bracket, pipes and hoses and 3 pullies for $2200...everybody i told that hates me lol!. The whole stealth ram setup i got off a guy that lost interest in a ws-6 trans am project and that was my gain at $1600. A major part of the whole car-craft hobby is to have some patience as some unbelieveable deals will ALWAYS surface. The AFR 210 heads I bought brand new for $1300 and $1200 in a shaft mounted valve train. My hood is a 2.5" fiber glass cowl unit. I'll definitely get a digital camera to take some pics and figure out how to post them on here because i'm not that computer "savvy" like some of these guys on here.

Nice kill. You just made me realize how slow my car was.
I'm barely killing GT's... let alone Cobra's.

Nice kill.....Terminator Cobras are no joke.
A KB 2.2L swap, w/small pulley, full exhaust and a good tune by Modular Depot can put them around 600 RWHP easily...Ive seen it happen. On stock Eatons, just ap ulley swap, exhaust and tune can put them at 500 RWHP.
You've got a very wicked setup there, congrats on the win!

I gotta get off the boards. the more i read the more i want. fortunately everyone around here is **** and i have only lost one race, against some audi turbo, i dont know wtf was in that thing, but right off the light it just flew away likw crazy. sounds like an awesome setup, keep up the good work.
