'92 RS LO3 vs. '93 Lumina Z34

I have a '92 Camaro RS (LO3, auto) with full 3'' Flowmaster exhaust, Edelbrock headers, and a couple other minor mods. A friend of mine says that his old stock Z34 (which he sold and no longer owns) would have beaten me. I have driven a couple Z34s before, and they do have a little power (210 hp in a stock automatic). But I think if I were to race my RS against a stock Z34, I would probably win. What do you guys think?

Axle/Gears: It's a volvo?
stock wise Lumina Z34s have about 210hp but they have a measley 215lbs of ft torque and they weigh ALOT more than third gen Camaros do....

You'd have him....

From a dead stop you would win, but from a roll it would be close though

Don’t race from 30 or 60 the lq1 has the most aggressive kick down I have ever seen. for a stock v6

I think you coudl get him from a dig, I think it would be even or he would win from a roll.

It was the 3.4 DOHC. Here's a link to the magazine article section of thirdgen with the '92 Lumina Z34 5-spd times: https://www.thirdgen.org/newdesign/a...arofyear.shtml

I think it might be a pretty close race.
