I quoted it to you just because you mentioned the EVO in your post.

Here's the dyno video:

Here's the shake down passes video: (Looks like they need John Shephard to get behind the wheel)

And a picture preview:

EXCEPT the dumbass who installed it on the car put the muffler pointing straight out (like the fart cannons) and put a 4" tip on the car (instead of just the 2.5" pipe) without asking me. It looked so stupid and I was pissed. I think that was the only thing that ever got me a race though, since you couldn't tell my car was turbo otherwise.

I'm not saying it can't happen but you do know what I mean. most catbacks unless you buy yourself a muffler and make your own stuff is generally going to have a larger tip.

also stu when did you catch on to the whole bypassing the filter thing?

I guess I never did, sometimes it filters it and sometimes it doesn't. I guess a pm is in order. I just assumed they let me get away with it since I am one.

Yeah, I figured you were referring to the AMS car. There was a Buschur Evo running 10's @ 155 about a month ago at the track.

Wow, im thinking slicks on all four corners. What did it actually run, i couldnt make it out on the video.

And since the turbo is mounted like that, is it even possible to drive it in the rain? I bet the traction issues would be even more funny.

a car like that is not intended for the street by anymeans. but it is possible to drive out there.. but NEVER in the rain.

I knew it wasnt made for street use, but i was just wondering if it could be done.

Maybe its just me, but i dont want anything that I cant drive home after a race at the track unless its a funny or top fuel car. Then again, i dont have a lot of money to blow either.

I bet you could drive that car in the rain. Just as long as water is not splashing directly into the turbo from other cars or something. Especially if you're not at full throttle or something.

Of course on a car like that, the turbo would probably suck three day old shampoo out of a little girl's hair on a swing set two blocks away, so you never know.

Also, why did you buy a Formula 350???? Why not find one with a LO3 is you're so righteous.
You wanna know why i bought a formula 350? I didnt. My dad bought it new in 89 and gave it to me in 2000 with 37k miles. Ive had the crappy models of cars and liked them just as much as the fulley loaded high end cars. I had a 92 RS L03 and it wasnt as bad as people make them out to be. I liked the car but it was filled with bondo. I also had a 90 Non turbo laser. I bought it back in 99 before they were hugely popular. And I turboed it, Stu. Of course it wasnt as hard as turboing something else since there were turbo models of the same engine (4G63). I used factory turbo parts. But i did turbo my firebird from scratch. I had everything done but the turbo was too small so i gave up on it for now. I guess my point is that the WRX and STI owners are like the "Unbeatables" (mustang owners, around here anyway) and i hate that.

Doesn't the head in the Neon motor in the non-turbo Laser you flow the opposite way? I believe it does.
