LO3 vs. 96 V6 Firebird.

I was on my way to the local pick and pull to get a new driverside door handle because mine broke and a white 96 bird pulls up to me.I wasn't planning on doing anything but when I was going to pass the guy he floors it.So in the interest of not allowing a 15 year old kid try to punk me like that I made chase and easily passed him up.We both turn on to Highway 93 and I was about 5 cars ahead just cruising figuring the guy new his place.I look in my rear view and see the guy punch it so in kind I did so as well.He started to pull alittle on me at first but as my speed increased his didn't.he held with me to the top of third gear and once I hit fourth all he saw was tail lights. we kept it up for about a minute and I shut down with about a 4 car lead and ofcourse I get the R.i.c.e.r flyby.I followed the guy to a gas station to talk with him a bit .he tells me that all he's had done to his car is the traditional cold air intake and a catback and once he gets his NOS he hopes to be in the 11's All in all it was fun (and maybe alittle childish on my part for racing somebody in the middle of the day) just thought I'd share alittle racing fun with you guys.

1/8th mile

That or a 500 shot...

I'm hoping for a low low 14 or low 9 (1/8)
Not fast, but fast enough to shup up hondas (stu don't kill me,I know some people actually know what their doing, and yes its more complicated than a maxwell house and Ultra spark plugs)

It still kills me to see APC over the whole winshield..

I've driven a 3400 seires 4th gen, 3.4 whatever you call it. it wasn't nothing to brag about..It did have a 3.42 posi though, did a nifty burnout.
