Don't race a Third Gen Camaro in the dirt.

Theoretically, if you were to modify your 2002 supercharged Toyota Tacoma so that you could turn on the rear locker in 2wd, and decided to have a donught contest with a third gen camaro in an open area that is not nearly as smooth as a dirt parking lot. This could potentially happen.

End Theoretical Warning.

Looks like someone tried out that commercial where that guy's girlfriend threw his truck off a cliff and it landed on it's wheels and drove away, except this time it didn't land on it's wheels. It doesn't look like it has too much damage though....

In all the times I've done donuts in mine on dry/wet pavement, dirt, ice and snow, I haven't done that Anyone get it on video? Might as well start puting an exo cage on the thing now.

$13,000 worth of damage from just looking at it while it was sitting on the street. That's not even touching the drivetrain. **The engine doesn't start, but that's just because I'm sure it's filled with oil since it was upside down for 20 minutes.

The very first picture taken you can hardly see the truck because there is still so much dust in the air. There were pretty large bumps all over the place. It was terribley embarassing.

Insurance is totalling it and I'm going to get something a little cheaper to wheel in. I'm looking for a Lexus LX450/Toyota Land Cruiser. I was going to get a Land Rover (for even cheaper) but they just aren't reliable enough.

Damn buy it back and make it your wheelin machine. It's already fooked so no worries about even more dents.

Nah, I'm glad it's totalled. It was an awesome truck, but now that I have a choice, I'd rather have a bit smaller car payment.

Besides, I don't have the time, money, or fabrication skills to make a rock buggy.

That sucks man, glad your alright. Flipping in a car or truck is a pretty scary experance. I was in my friends toyota truck that had 39" tall tires and he took a turn in a parking lot too fast and over we went, I was shaking for like 15 min afterward.

Was that thing any sort of fast? I've seen a few supercharged tacomas do some nice roasts on the street but never watched one run the 1320. Was a cool truck Stu. How was it for you in the cab being upside down? oh, and I'm so honored to have a place in your signature, even if it makes me sound like a phillastine.

Your insurance quotes will go up? Haha, why don't you leave the insurance talk to people who know what they're talking about okay? If you want to talk about your rates going up, you can whine about crooked doctors, chiropractors, insureds, and claimants who all play the auto lotto and jack insurance companies for extraordinary amounts of money on a daily basis. If you're having problems paying a liability only premium on a third gen Camaro, you've got a lot more to worry about than how I'm driving.

The truck could probably run a 17 1/4 mile at this altitude with those tires on it. I never had a problem getting out of my own way.

I guess it would probably feel worlds different from my driver, a 1995 22 RE 5 Speed EXTcab Tacoma. Merging onto freeway traffic with my tacoma is barely above suicidal....a good 22 second 1/4 mile. Nice pics.

A little off topic, but not much, I had a buddy roll a 1990 S-10 in our old highschool parkinglot, went all the way over, back onto the wheels, kid just drove it home. Just needed a windshield, replaced the roof, and new doors. The school had it on video from the security camera, the kid had the ***** to go into school the next day are request the tape. I think he even got it.
