guy i used to work with asked me if i wanted to race i was like what becuae i didnt even know he had a car i remember him bumming rides off people, so he was like im driving the spyder it was a 2000-2005 eclipse gts, i didnt realize it was a 210 hp 6 cyl i just figured he was another 4 cylinder thinking they had me and he was like ohh you really want to get your *** kicked so i just siad ok well lets go and see what happens, we started on the highway at about a 45 roll in 3rd, we went on 3 and he starting pulling from me , when i hit forth i starting pulling on him then we slowed down around 90ish, we stopped at the next exit at the gas station and he was like wow you deffinetly kept up i thought i was going to kill you ive killed so many cars in this thing it was good run though wasnt expecting it to be a v6 though with 210 hp, o ya it was bone stock

 

Did he rice it all out or was it stock looking? Maybe he was saving money by bumming rides off people. Anyways, a kill is a kill.

 

wow, it was really hard to try to keep up with this. try using some periods every now and then. but from what i got out of it, it seemed like a pretty close race. those are always the best imo.

 

What is the info on your car?..350, 305? tbi, tpi? any mods? etc. Nice kill though.

 

Probably the 305TBI, the 2000-2005 Eclipses were slugs.

 

I annihilated one of those on the street, but we ran from a dig. It really wasn't even close.

there is nothing wrong with getting beat by a "toy" car. even more so with how the stock thirdgens compare to many other cars on the road anymore.

either way it sounds like he might of had fun and that is the best part. no need to rain down upon him with stuck up snooty thirdgen pride.
