91 GTA vs 3 Mustangs LMAO

Hey yalls, just figured I would let you know about this. The other night I was driving and I saw a hot chick in the mustang next to me...cool...so I smile...and then her fella in the car sees me and gets PISSED. Well I guess he was cruising with his 2 buddies in their Mustangs. So now I have a 93 GT a 95 GT and another 95ish Mustang (couldnt tell what it was, somewhat pre-occupied) all ganging up on little ol L98 me . So we all ended up stopping at a 3 lane stoplight, me in the middle the 93 to the right and the 95 to the left with the other one behind me. Well I look over at the POd dude and smile and he gets all butt happy and I figured "Awww shnizzle iz awn now honkey" (Dislaimer: I do not talk jive im just adding some ginger to the story )

Well I brought my T/A up to 800 RPM (max stall ) and dropped it on green. My nice new tires hooked up nicely I must admit, because by 35 mph I had 3 cars on all of them . So score one for old 350s...or does that count as three hahaha.

Good job man, I still want an L98 no matter how much people down them. I just never really understood that, they do have some power and are good street engines. Unless you would rather drive a tank fourth gen.

GTAs are typically the heaviest of 3rd gens.

Judging by the results at my local track, the TPI 350's have as much performance potential as the 5.0 Mustangs. I'de take the 350 over the 5.0 any day, if only because of the ability to rebuild them cheap. The only thing 5.0's have over out TPI's is aftermarket support, and in that area my friends they destroy our poor TPI engines.

i not brand loyal for any brand and build chevies for all the street rods we build for customers, because of the price differance. but a 5.0 ford is getting easier to find then most sbc now around here anyways, with out buying a crete motor, because everyone is crushing cars. for stock rebuilt shortblock a 302 and 350 is about the same price but a core is higher on the chevy.

Sounds like fun but if the race ended at 35 but thats pretty slow to be shutting down (I think 35 mph takes about 2 seconds in my car). Not to mention 3 cars at 35 kind of sounds like two of them might not have been racing!

Oh well, congrats on the win, maybe next time the Mustang owner wont be going home and getting laid, and it will be you tagging the hot chick in the Mustang!

Funny you mention that, my sister actually has a 94 GT, so I doubt she would go out with an Fbody owner, although she might race and beat a few of them. We have taught her well!

3 car lengths @ 35mph makes me wonder if they were even trying to race you? for this reason alone, I'm considering selling my Z and getting a typhoon/syclone. Or making one with a junk yard turbo setup. O- 60 on the street with AWD and a turbo is a tough contender. 1/4 mile is a whole different ball game

I used to be a blue oval racer, 4 Mustangs, but I got tired of being Found On Road Dead. So now I have found the TPI Force and live to roast the tires and the posers.

Nice, my dad used to be a GM guy, had a big block Vetter vert, GTO, Tempest and the like. It wasn't until he got older that he got into Fords, and we are now throwing a simple 393/Jericho/Nitrous combo together for his 91. Should run mid 10s on motor, mid 9s on a small shot! I am not old enough yet to decide to switch or not, afterall I havent even tried to go fast with my junk, I still have mostly stock stuff!
