Im just wondering what my 85 trans am w/ the 305 tpi v8, and dual cat back 3" exhaust would run in the quarter mile? The car is stock besides the exhaust but i have big plans for the summer.

Oh yeah, good call, my odometer is shot goes up 5 miles in like 1, auto, CT, prolly does need a tune up and oil change, this car is takin all my money!

 

Depending on how good a tune I'd roughly say anywhere between a 15.6-17.

 

17's?! I hope not...

 

I ran a best of 15.597 @ 87.33mph in the quarter. My car is all stock, besides some free mods and exhaust. It's the same year as yours and I have the same engine, trans and gears as you do as well. So you should be running very similar times. But if you really want to know what your car will run, take it to the drag strip.

BTW my car ran mid to high 16's on 7 cylinders so 17's seem a bit far fetched.

 

Ok, good to know id love to take it to the track, but the closest one is 3 hours away and i still need to pay off thing for the car, school, then work...
