some of my mods are in sig rest are in garage.Saw this guy at the track a couple of times but he never raced when I was there and left last time before I could get to him.Its basiclly stock from what I hear.Mild bolt ons I assume.lets say hes stock or there abouts,what do yall think the outcome will be.

Whats hc?Its a flowmaster 3"From y pipe w/ no cat.Like I said the rest of my mods are in VBgarage.The reson I dont have more of the mods listed are wife kids and money.The car is far from through,and stall and a built trans are going to be next.Then nitrous(125 shot or so),then intake.I`m not as concerned with gears as long as I get the juice.sticky tires are also on my wish list.I could go on...But how bad do yall think he would get me.I`ve never seen one of these in action.

You can take him. A srt-4 is only like a 14 second car. I've been wanting to run one with my mostly stock LB9.

13.9 @ 100 bone stock in an SRT... A few mods and mid 13s shouldnt be hard. You will have your hands full.

My LB9 ran 14.5 in the 1/4 with just a cat-back exhaust. Made a few changes since then. The track I run at just closed so I'm looking for a new place. I always have the bottle if I need it.

Last time I checked the SRT-4's were boosted, not just a run of the mill 4-cyl (changes things alot). PA to PA makes it more even, especially since the thirdgen is heavier. And the camaro has technology thats 15 years older, which still makes it a nice win. Get yourself a 100 shot and if your trans is still okay you should be able to run through a couple bottles without a problem, its always good insurance.

The only SRT-4 that I've seen hit 13's is one that's had his boost turned up and a custom, shitty tune. In the time I've worked at PIR I've never seen a stock STR-4 hit 13's. Most are mid 14's. 25thmustand, I'm not calling you a liar my any means, I'm simply stating that you are a pretty good driver. Most SRT-4 drivers can't launch that car worth their life. I usually see them run dead even with WRX's, not STi's.

PA to PA? I like to run them NA to PA, in a heavier car, with not much done to it, but then again I am the one on the wrong board, so don't listen to me!
A stock SRT WILL go 13.9, even thought you haven't seen it, it can and does happen. More so than LS1s going 12s thats for sure.

I don’t know what exactly is on your car 25thmustang, or if your times are bullshit, but your car is fast for what you say you have(as in faster than 99% of foxbodies witht the same bolt ons), and from my anecdotal experience srt-4’s run 14’s stock, but that’s only from what I have seen, and I don’t watch youtube allday.
And NA to PA I see your point and would almost always agree if you could win, its just that for the sake of things being even PA to PA is fair when comparing the two cars.

As "cocky" as this sounds, it is probably one of the fastest in the country as far as stock suspension, non race set up cars goes... I dont have a complete mod list there, but trust me, it isnt very long.Originally Posted by koolctk

I say fair in the fact that its twice the size motor vs half the size, and the car does not weigh near twice as much. There is never a fair race, I am just stating what I feel.

Well looks like I won't be winning any races for awhile. The motor in my camaro started knocking today. Smoked my friends iroc though. Good thing I have a vortec 350 lined up.
