89' vs. 04' Stang

How do you think i would fare with all the mods in my sig (+ 3.73's) against a 04' GT 5 spd with exhaust and intake only?

Re: 89' vs. 04' Stang

yea cause i should be making around 300+hp and have 3.73s. Which is more hp than an 04' GT already.

If you ran a 15.0 before the gears I don't see you winning if the guy can drive, I don't see gears taking a full second off of your ET.

Most LS1's are mid to low 13's. A typical '04 'stang should run low 14's.

Ok, I didn't realize that your times were on the stock LO5. You should probably beat him.

Re: 89' vs. 04' Stang

Some are high 13 second cars, depends on the driver, the car and the area. Typically though they're faster.

You should beat the Mustang

89 Iroc l98, chip, pulleys, built tranny with 2800 stall. Rear aftermarket suspension. Raced the same car with the 5 speed. We both hooked well. I jumped out about two cars and stayed there to about 90. Did this three times and the same happened everytime. You gotem for sure if you hook.

actually unless someone cant drive, and ls1 is a low 13 second/high 12 second car, a 99-04 stang is a low 14-mid 14 second car
