This post is im memory of My son, He was killed July, 5th 2009 at 1:42 AM duing a late night run. I have been an advocate for a local sanctioned raceway. I never accomplished my goal. One more life lost in a crash. If you have a local track use it. Even though his 1997 Honda Civic was traveling 120 mph it was a survivable crash in a sanctioned race car on a sanctioned track. If you love to race please go to the track. I don't wish my greif on anyone. BTW He was just 20 years old

 

My condolences to you and your family. That's so sad. The world is loosing too many of our children to war and this, as you said, was totally unnecessary.

Thanks for your replys. I just recently joined Third Gen. It's nice to know people care.

 

I also send my condolences to you and your family. Even in your time of grief you have the strength to enlighten us as to what caused his death. I hope that you will continue to be an advocate for sanctioned racing. Hopefully some benefit will come from your son's tragic death and maybe other young guns will be persuade to try the track instead of the street.
