1983 Z28(w/LS1) vs. newer Carrera S

Cruised past a nice looking Porsche at around 80 mph. Didn't think much of it at first since it was an older gentleman.

A few seconds later I'm blinded by his HID lights on my bumper then I get high beamed?? I slow down and he pulls to the side of me. To my surprise I hear him drop the gear and hold his RPM's high for a few seconds right before he floors it. Instinctively I drop it to 3rd and floor it as well to give chase. I reeled him in and passed him from 60-120 followed by me taping on the brakes a few times to slow back down to my regular speed.

His facial expression was priceless as I passed him up in my bastardized turd gen while sporting my mulet!!!

BTW this took place on a closed course by professional drivers....

LS1 with TR224 cam, milled 98 heads, hawks long tubes, cold air intake and tune. About 400rwhp.

Not too familiar with Porsches, I know the 911 is turbo but don't know about the Carrera? I thought it would put up a better fight?

Most of the Porches cars can't sit by a 400whp car... but do you seriously have a ****** cause that would make it ten times more wicked!?

Yeah a buddy told me that depending on the year they put down 350-385 hp. Still was fun though.

Haha, somebody with a wicked fast thirdgen needs to prowl the streets with a m u l l e t, cheesy mustache, aviators, and a wife beater and tape themselves beating some higher end cars and goading the owners!

That'd be awesome!

edit: LOL at m u l l e t being censored!

not bad going
gotta say - those old skool air cooled 911s - that humming engine is a sound to die for. - get a nice 60s job in a period colour with fuchs wheels - defines cool

just like a TTA does of course

peace out
