Looking at your mods, I'd say it was time for some SLP headers

By the way, about the cars you listed....
It will mostly come down to driver. Especially vs the vette LT1. The LS1 is likely to start pulling on you in the end from what I've heard, but who knows.
Like I said, headers would help with that .

Lets see these are probably the "guesstimated 1/4 times for each of those

*clap, clap* Hooray for you Texas boys running 12's in stock LS1's. I DID say that the track conditions here in Indy suck. High humidity and drunken-******* track preparation employees are probably why that is. That's why the guys were only running low 13's here last week. My whole point is that 93-97 Z's are no match for the 98+ f-bodys unless they have a lot of mods. Peace.

In his post he asked if he could beat the cars listed, since no1 seems to have raced any of those cars its OK to get an idea of how it will do on the street by comparing 1/4 mile times, for the street though. There is another board for actual drag racing.

The ricers (vr4s) you mentioned will probably jump you, but you'll catch up,
You'll kill the VR4. The 94 Z-28 will run similar times to a 96 non-WS6 T/A, and since you out-mod him as well, you should beat him pretty good. The LS1 cars are likely running low, low 13s, likely enough to beat a modded LT1. A lot of people will tell you that LS1s are capable of 12s from the factory. Although this is true, this will not be a really common occurance. I'd be mostly worried about the 6-speed Z, since the other is virtually stock. (The B&M shift kit's performance gains really are minimal at best) As for the Corvette, the first thing you should do is check for any badges that say 'ZR1'
, if there are none (it probably isn't a ZR1), the race will be close, but should favor you slightly. There isn't a huge margain between LT1 Vette 1/4 times and LT1 F-body times, and the Vette IRS can be difficult to launch at the drag strip. The exhaust probably adds 15hp, the K&N; 2hp, and the JET chip; maybe 5hp if he's lucky. This race will be close, though. Hope this helps! ------------------

I would bet you would be happy with 13.80 in the quarter. I don't believe that there are stock auto ls1 cars in the twelves. Hell, most of them I see are high 13s. I have beat everyone I have raced and been side by side with a 2000 auto ram air. If those cars are almost twelves, so was mine. (before heads) And I ran 14.00 at 100.
