I started as a ***** but liked camaros, and my brother is still a *****. he has a 2000 civic ex with a catback and cold air intake, 8mm plug wires. those are his mods. he started talkin $hit like he could beat my camaro when i finish it, no sweat, we will race once i put my 350 in. it will have somewhere around 340 hp. will he even pull ahead of me off the line? stock his car had 125 hp. it is also a 5 speed. mine is an auto, built th350. thanks how badly can i smoke him?

 

You will kill him. The EX has a 0-60 of arounnd 8.5 secs. You rpobably have aorund 6.0-6.5. Its 1/4 mile is around 16.5-17.0 (guestimate) and yours is prolly around mid high 13's. If you don't peel out off the stop, you will rip him apart, he'll never get even close.

I raced one of these on teh second day I gto my TA. It's and 86 TA 305 TPI 700R4. At the time my tranny was switching very badly and the whole car was driving like a piece of ****. Anyways I "raced" one of these of a stoplight and I ripped it, not my as much as I wanted but it was a clear win.

Don't worry about it, just race hime, and look at the expression on his face when he pulls up to the next light 30 secs later

Haha...my friend has a 2000 EX civic. His car is the slowest peice of **** I've ever seen! I mean my friend with his Raised blazer with only header, intake, exhaust smokes his *** off the line and on the freeway! A raised blazer! **** I leave him behind like nothing. ANd I only have around like 240hp. So if your pushing like 340 then ****. He wont even see your tail lights. But the only problem is that traction. So he may jump you in the beginning but you'll pass him soon after.
